Sonic arrives at the arena where his trial by combat will be held and tells Robotnik even if he doesn’t make it out of this alive Robotnik will never get control of Mobius again. Robotnik says that with the help of the Drakon Empire taking over Mobius won’t be difficult but the Emperor reminds him that he needs to stick to his end of the bargain as well. The Metallix is brought into the arena and both the accused and the prosecutor are given metal staffs to use against each other in combat. Sonic thinks he can get an advantage because of his speed but the Metallix soon proves him wrong by using his death ray against the hedgehog. Tails is watching the fight from a large TV monitor outside and wonders how he can get in to help.

“The Unbrushables”

Tails goes to the Casino Night Zone for some rest but soon discovers he’s not going to get this when Max Gamble’s mob trash the shop of a man who can’t pay his “Protection Money”. Tails manages to convince the citizens to fight back against the mobs and goes to handle Max Gamble himself. However he discovers that Max is really working for Robotnik and the money he’s collecting will go towards a new army of Troopers once Robotnik has returned to power. Max tries to set his mob on Tails but when they find out he’s working for Robotnik they change their minds about helping him since even they don’t Robtnik back.

“Star Struck – Part Two”

During an interview Fabian Vane gets a call from another crazed “fan” how wants to pull his head off. Tekno manages to track the call so she and Amy can hunt down the man who made the call, who turns out to be the same guy that attacked Fabian at the concert. They easily manage to defeat him and he reveals that he was Fabian’s previous bodyguard before Amy and Tekno got the job. Back at the studio the other “fans” arrive to get Fabian, only this time the two girls are on their side. They tell Fabian they’ve discovered the “fans” were really after him because he owes them large sums of money and won’t pay up. He gives them the money in the end and says this won’t affect him; he’ll still be famous. But it turns out that in the fast moving world of pop music he’s already been replaced by a new singer and becomes yesterday’s news.
