Sonic, Amy, Johnny and Porker enter the Miracle Planet over the chain that connects it to Mobius; but whilst trying a sneak attack, they are found by a Metallix guard.
Amy defeats the robot with a shot in its neck circuity – the only weak spot. Meanwhile, the Brotherhood uses the Alpha Device that Grimer made earlier to draw energy from the planet, and slowly turn it into a mechanical wasteland!

Cam `n` Bert attempt to transplant the homeless Green Hill Badniks to the Palmtree Panic Zone, but arrive only to find that the Freedom Fighters are taking advantage of the peace and quiet by taking a short (and rather implausible, in the middle of a war) holiday.
They return to the Green Hill Zone, and attempt to persuade the Palmtree Panic badniks to return and fight, but they refuse to move.
Returning to their workshop, the B.A.R.F. construct "The Seven Badniks" from the remains that they collected in Green Hill – hybrid killing machines who`ll persuade the upstarts the hard way.

Suspicious of being followed, Tails and Knuckles discover that they are joined in the Land Beyond by Morain Blackthorn – Errol`s sword-wielding younger sister – and are busily trying to convince her to turn back when the denizens of the Land Beyond attack.
Trogg watches the battle from his scrying crystal, obsessed with his previous defeat by Tails and his desire for revenge. He reveals his plan to the captured Enchanter Kings: to summon forth the all-powerful Dark One and transform them into creatures like himself.
And with the would-be rescue party surrounded, it doesn`t look as though anyone can stop him.
