Emperor Metallix gloats over the activation of the Alpha device and the fact that an apparently captive Sonic, Amy and Johnny have been brought before him. But the Metallix which has captured them turns out to be being remotely controlled by Porker Lewis as a ruse to get close to the Emperor, and explodes as they escape, apparently taking the Emperor with it.
There`s no time to properly congratulate Porker, who quickly and successfully re-programs the Alpha device to harmlessly discharge all of its stored energy; but as the foursome leave, the Emperor uses its last vestige of strength to reactivate it.
Knowing that he`s the only one who can stop the Device, Porker turns back as the Miracle Planet fades away, leaving the other three staring into nothingness.
“The Seven Badniks – Part Fourâ€

The Seven Badniks successfully round up the renegades and Cam `n` Bert transplant them back to the Palmtree Panic Zone without difficulty. The Freedom Fighters then smash them in minutes, leaving the two sorry operatives to wonder what chance Sonic might have stood against the Seven.

The captured rescue party is presented to Trogg, just in time for the summoning of the Dark One. Whilst Trogg and his goblins are distracted, the threesome free the Enchanter Kings, but the Dark One spots them trying to escape and holds them in a forcefield.
Trogg gloats at what appears to be his imminent success…
