Doctor Zachary and Knuckles're apparently hoping to fill each other in on the Floating Island's past history, but Zachary is still concerned that last issue's robot marauder won't have given up on its mission to hunt him down.
Confident that he did a good job of seeing it off last issue but sure that he's seen the design before, Knuckles consults a library of ancient scrolls detailing the island's technology – and is heading off to ask Zachary why the robot seems to be part of the island's own technology when the machine comes back for more.
As Zachary seems paralysed with fear, Knuckles leaps to his defence – but even he can't stop the machine from brushing them both aside and shattering the Master Emerald!
"Cybernik Strikes Back – Part Four"

Blown into the nearby sea by the force of the explosion, Shortfuse is pinned under debris, but escapes by means of his jet boots and sets off to rescue Tekno. Meanwhile, Metamorphia as had her shape-shifting powers removed and been sentenced to robotocisation as a punishment for failing to prevent the destruction of the factory.
This could open up whole new avenues for her character – and I don`t just mean a vengeance plot…
