Yes, this is the same thread I posted almost a year ago. But this time, I'm not saving for a laptop.

The holiday season is rolling around and you're trying to think of that perfect gift to get a friend of yours. But you don't know what they like! Or maybe, they have everything they want, but you want to get them that extra-special personalized gift just for them! So what can you do? Commission a hand-drawn picture of them or their favorite character in dramatic pensketch or full, vibrant color!

All right, I'm done with the cheesy sales pitch. Anyway! I have many different kinds of drawings, most of which are showcased on my site or Deviantart (the latter shows more recent things). I can also draw from photographs and other realistic work. Interested? Check out the four easy steps below:

Step 1: Prices
Pen-sketch - $10 (add $3 per extra character)
This is a really good bargain! Imagine the rough beauty of a pencil sketch in sharp ballpoint-pen detail. Available in red, blue and black, or a combination of these. Sharpie-outlined also available in virtually any color you can think of.

Lineart and colored pencil - $15 (add $5 per extra character)
This one's a little more expensive as not only is it more work, but materials are expensive too. But man, these things turn out beautiful in the end. This is your chance to see your character(s) in full, vibrant color. Like I said before, I just got 132 Prismacolors (the best in the market IMHO), so you know the colors will be accurate.

(new!) Computer colored - $3 per hour*
Here is an example of the kind and quality of work I do. You will not be disappointed with something like this. At the same time, these also tend to take the longest, and I cannot guarantee price until I'm finished. Price is as follows:

$3 - first five hours (i.e. 5 hours = $15)
$2 - first ten hours (i.e. 10 hours = $25)
$1 - anything after that (i.e. 15 hours = $30)

(For reference: the picture posted above took about 9 hours. This, on the other hand, was 45 hours due to the high amount of characters in the picture and the detail in the outfits.)

Keep in mind I don't draw backgrounds unless you specifically ask. Feel free to email me for a rough idea of price (usually no more than $3)

Step 2: Request!
This is the fun part!
A reference picture would be fantastic, however I understand not everyone has one to show. If you don't have a reference picture, I need a detailed description of what they look like. The more detailed you are, the more exact it'll be. Also, if you're using color, specify that as best as you can. I want you to be happy with an accurate picture ^^

Step 3: Payment options
I stress: DO NOT PAY until I send you a note saying I have completed your picture.

I have a Paypal (shadowednavi-@-hotmail-.com ; just remove the dashes).
If you want to send by check, drop me an email (same address as Paypal) or an ezPM with "Commission" somewhere in the title.
If at all possible, avoid cash. Cash + mail = VERY NO.

Step 4: Receiving your picture
I firmly believe if you go through all this trouble for a picture, you should have the original in-hand, exactly as you want it (The same applies for computer-colored; I will send a print of it for you, and if you'd like the JPEG as well, I'll email it). Therefore, I will need your address (DO NOT POST HERE. EzPM or email is the way to go). I'm sorry if you don't trust me and think I'm one of those creepy internet people (I do understand; this is a pretty unsafe world), but I give you my solemn promise that I am not. If you still don't feel comfortable, please email me anyway and we can work something out.

Happy early holidays, everyone! And thank you in advance for all who commission. Starving artists need money too. ^^

Lol...and I thought my return would be low key...

Yes it has been awhile. I'm just nowhere near as active on forums as I once was. I'm doing fine actually...just busy with college, work...etc...but thanks for asking. I assume everything is good with you as well?

I would like to commission you for the full-color version of a picture of my villainous CEO character, Georgia Stahlmansche.

Georgia Stahlmansche is Tergonaut's arch-villain, a 5'4" woman with crimson (definitely red, not this orangey stuff) hair, pale green eyes, and she's well-built from a physical regimen (not like rippling with muscles, but she's in very good shape). She is 30 years old, but she looks more like an older teenager in overall appearance, with a medium-to-large bust. She has freckles which only emphasize this girlish appearance. Her typical outfit is a black business suit, white dress shirt, slim black European-style tie (i.e. a skinny tie). Her hair style is perhaps the most difficult part for me to see in my mind; I think a business-like bun of hair would work, yet there are other hair styles that I could see her wearing. I will need help on determining the hair style that will work for Stahlmansche; I will be available via IM to discuss that, and I will also be available for any additional comments that would be helpful for this commission.

For hair color, refer to this guy's hair color (a picture from the online game Trickster); if the same color can't be achieved, then any similar red hair color will do:

For two other different ideas that I have for Stahlmansche's hair style, please refer to these pictures (also from Trickster):

As for payment, I will discuss that with you in IM at the next convenient opportunity.

Okay, the drawing I would like is basically a drawing of Sonic, Tails and anthro Nicole. I'm quite sure you're aware of what Sonic and Tails look like but as for anthro Nicole...uhhh I'd have to buy a comic myself and scan a page of it for you...haha

Perhaps you could Google Image Search it? There are probably people who've drawn Anthro Nicole in the past or people who've scanned it or something.

In addition, I need to know what poses these three will be in, the overall mood of the picture, and what medium you'd like them drawn in.

Terg, your commission is still in progress. An unexpected event came up and I spent the majority of my free time cleaning up the house for it, so I haven't had much time to really commit to your drawing. But I'm devoting my time tonight to it and it will be done before midnight. ^^

Luckily Wikipedia has come through for me...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ima...171-07.jpg

That's a pic of Nicole. As for their poses, I basically had the idea of Sonic standing in the middle with his arms dangled on both Tails and Nicole's shoulders, each standing on either side of him.

No problemos, Triple S. I'm just amazed that you're already nearly done with it.

Sorry for not posting this sooner!

Terg ~ Your picture is complete! I will IM you for details on what to do next at the next available opportunity. The next chance I have to mail stuff out is Thursday.

Tornadot ~ ^^; I still need to know whether or not you want a pen drawing (and if so, which color(s) ink) or colored pencilled. As soon as I know that, I'll be able to start.
