Earlier this week, I had an idea for an epic comic that I'd like to see done better than my meager artistic talents allow. It would involve the following:
1. It would explain why Chaos Gamma ceased being hostile in Emerl's story in Battle,
2. It would prove that Gamma is superior to E-123 Psychopath, I mean, Omega, and
3. Feature a massive free-for all involving the entire E-series.
If anyone is interested in helping me, I'll elaborate on the story further.
And yes, I'd like it to be a comic because writing couldn't convey the story the way I'd like. It'd also just look pretty dang cool in comic format.
Hey i'm not much of an artist so maybe i'm not too qualified to say this, but a "massive ffa involving the entire E-series" will probably be a massive hassle to draw properly. I mean there's so many lines that have to be kept clean and straight and everything. Not saying it can't be done - just that you're looking at lots and lots of hardwork to pull it off.
Or perhaps you could look into 3D modelling. I know it sounds like a long shot, but if you're serious about this you'll have much better long-term results making reusable models. These days you can get comic-style flat shaders that mimic the comic look very well. See the "Ghost in the Shell: SAC" for an example of what i'm talking about (<3 tachikoma~) Also, you probably won't have to bother too much with the environments etc since this seems very character (err...) driven.
That's a good idea. Problem is, I can't do that sort of thing...:(

But I DID have another idea that would be easier to do: Sonic vs. Shadow vs. Metal Sonic. Maybe even throw Silver Sonic into the mix.
I'd like to see both these ideas done, though.

I had an idea that would be both easier to do AND cooler than the free-for-all idea: Have Gamma take on the E-series one by one, defeating them in novel ways (a la the anime endings to Sonic CD) and switching between his SA armament (homing missile launcher, targeting laser, that little headlight thingie, jet booster, and, for those extra-tough foes, the laser blaster) and Chaos Gamma's moves from Battle (Solid Knuckle, Devastator, etc.)
I actually have the story mostly thought out, and I'll psot what I have down storywise if anyone is interested in doing it.
Kay, i'm here...
First off, I'd have to say it'd be easier to do over chapters, due to length issues, and it would help to have access to Sonic Battle sprites (which I know you do, having seen your custom sprites)
On to the story.
Well, basically, it'd start out during Sonic Battle, right after Shadow and Emerl defeat Chaos Gamma for the final time. As Chaos Gamma is now run on Chaos energy(hence the added Chaos part of his name), Shadow's attacks cause a short- circuit in his memory core, causing stirrings of something Eggman had thought he'd erased. In brief flashes, Chaos Gamma starts to remember something... before (I.E.Gamma in Sonic Adventure). As soon as he can move(you last see him lying on the ground, sparking), he sets out in search of, well, a particular pink birdie...
Skip to present day...
When he finally finds the nest of the birdies, he encounters Sonic and Tails on one of their journeys. Still being subject to Eggman's programming, Chaos Gamma launches into an attack, and a fight ensues.
Chapter One should probably end there. Sound good so far?

EDIT:So basically this is about Shadow making a nest of pink birdies, and defeating(or trying to) chaos gamma?
Ummm... no. Just about the last time you see Chaos Gamma in Sonic Battle, Shadow and Emerl kick the crap out of him. He's left babbling and lying motionless on the ground.
The "pink birdie" bit was, well, the pink Flicky originally powering Gamma. Gamma at one point REMEMBERS being the bird in Sonic Advanture, so, naturally, if Chaos Gamma, the rebuilt and reprogrammed Gamma wanted to understand what it was that he was remembering, he would seek out the only remaining link to his previous life. So, Chaos Gamma seeks out the Flicky formerly INSIDE Gamma. Does that make sense?
