I have been working on this lil picture, practising my cross hatching on it too, and i thought i would really like to see it captioned. In particular for sonic, but feel free to add captions for damion and knuckles too. I want a laugh and nothing gives me a good giggle than captions!. 
of course you can just type it in a post, you dont have to go through all the bother to put text on the pic itself ; )

Damian new it was a risk, but blaming that last fart on Sonic was worth it.
In a more art crit view, there is such a thing as too much cross hatching. It's a technique used to show shading, you can use it for base colour on occasion... but not this much.
now that i see the pic on a larger scale, i agree with crimbo. it makes it kind of hard to look at.

lol well i did say it was practise XD, now i know there can be too much cross hatching. lol
sorry, didnt mean to make your eyes bleed D:. though i appreciate that it was mentioned, it was hatch practise and all so i know not to do THIS much in the future : )
PS to be honest i did go a little crazy with the hatching on this lol! did the appropriate shading style hatching on another picture then went psycho on this one D:.
Though i have seen entirely hatched pictures like this before but it was in black and white o.O
