It's been several long years, but it's finally time to retire my old avatar (Many thanks to Scythess, wherever she may be!), and replace it with something new!
So, ladies and gentlemen, here's your chance to have your artwork immortalised all over EzBoard and potentially the ENTIRE INTERNET!!! ...Ok, maybe not the whole net. 
So, what you have to do, is create an image of my character Gyser that could be used as an avatar. That simple. ^^
There's a few little cons, and a few hints to get you going.
CONS:
- Errr... That sprite to the right there is basically the only reference picture you get. >>
HINTS:
- You can do the image in any style you want. Sprite it, draw it, heck, slap together 75 pieces of toast, photograph it and if it's good enough, it'll win!
- You don't have to make it avatar sized.
- Gyser has a very Devil May Care attitude (Phew! Almost wrote Devil May Cry)
- Speaking of which, I'm a huge Devil May Cry fan... *HINT!*

Do you want the colour of the avatar to stay the same, GyserHog. I only ask because I know what is needed when I give this a go.

Why don't you just say "I want a new avatar, could someone make one for me?" and be done with it?

You didn't specify size, so I made it 200 x 200 (so it's easy to resize). If you don't wanna use it as a new avatar, you can always just keep it as fanart.
