Wellity wellity wellity.
Some of you may remember that a while back, I had a topic on my various comic projects. However, I know not where that topic went, nor do I wish to necro it, since it would only lead to confusion.
Thus, I start a new topic, this topic isn't about my artwork, that topic still vaugly lives, and will be bumped when I draw something non-comic related. This is for the disscussion of my current comic projects, please disscuss. Pweeeeaase!
Of course, you can't disscuss without a topic! So first up, my webcomic, WolfTigerFox.
Currently updating MFW, this is a furry comic on student life. Oh how very original, I know But whatever, the writing isn't great, but *shrugs*
Check it and it's archives at wolftigerfox.comicgenesis.com/
Also currently ongoing is a nice old project, recently breathed full of new life, SonicAU.
Sonic AU is a retelling of the original sonic games, though in a completly bastardised universe with completly different personalities on the characters. *shrugs*
I don't however intend to ink or colour AU. Not that I wouldn't like to see it polished and nice, it's just that inking is such a schlep, and I really can't be bothered. Any volunteers for such would be welcomed Whether they would be posted in full or not depends on how good they are, but any effort at all would be appreiciated =3
And then there is projects I want to work on, but am not, for one reason or another, plans for the future include: Spectre (once I've got the writing down pat,) A graphic about a person cursed with immortality until he has vanquished the renegade spirits on earth. Dialantte (working title, not sure on it's name) A comic about some teen supers trying to make a headway in an adult organised buisness, which I need to get all my human muscle structure (female needs more work atm) down before I even consider starting.
And what I very much doubt I'll be working on, though I would really love to, and ignoring it would cause some of my sketchbook to go to waste, is Vlad and Igor, a comic about mad scientists, and the Seaside detective (man, film-noir comics are harsh on ink) both written by a good friend, but concieved together. Le sigh, they would rawk.
Anyway, discuss?
I can't really comment on the SAU comic since I don't really know what's going on without any dialogue (thought the Gordon Freeman statue earns you +100 awesome points), but it looks interesting.
WolfTigerFox is spiffy, but it might be a good idea to stick in an archive page to make it easier to get at the older comics. I think on Comic Genesis there's a tag for it called **bigcalender** or something like that, but I could check if you'd like (A quick question to a fellow Comic Genesiser, am I the only person who thinks their new name is extremely pretentious?).
Other stuff like 'about' and links pages and so forth would be good if you felt like doing any of 'em (plus they'd probably get you more traffic which is always good, right?). I'd recommend joining some of those webcomic voting lists too.
Oh, and it's a good idea to put in little copyright notices to (help) prevent people nicking your stuff. It happens a lot, unfortunately.
As for the comic itself, it's good. I like the art style (it's minty fresh different), and the colouring is impressive.
Your other ideas sound pretty cool; I hope they come to fruition at some point.
Keep up the awesome.
I knew there was something missing from my bookmarks @ Philosophy Monkey.
A little of topic, sure, but.. Buzz, you, as I remember it at least, I'm going to check up on what I missed when I can since it's rather late now, so I'll do it in the morning, make a rather funny comic. I used to check it through your sig occasionally, before I figured out "hey, I can use bookmarks for things"
Anyway, back to my ouwn guff.
The site, yeah, well, I keep meaning to get round to stuff like a proper archive and a cast page and an about and stuff, but so far I havn't got round to it. I actually have plans to do the cast in sinc with the comics, but for the rest, I have no excuse. And the Voting lists sound like a good play =D
Thankyou very much for your comments, I'll try to get round to acting on your suggestions, since they are good!
And yes, Comic genesis = highly pretentious, however Genchan = awsome.
Heh, nice work you got there, Crim. =P It's pretty darn good.
And, I LOL'd at the Gordon Freeman for President thing you got there. Nice touch. XD
I like it.
Wolf Tiger Fox is on the air again.
After a 2 month or so break for resits and holidays, WTF is back... and 2 updates in I already resort to a gust comic >>
Still, its a guest comic drawn by Kitty =D
