The Regis
A piccy I did of the Gizoid with the three Regis. I find them very similar and if I were to make a crossover of Sonic and Pokmon the Gizoid would definitely be related to them in one way or another! And it'd be named RegiGizoid! :]
I did the characters, my boyfriend did the background and the glowy cool effects. 🙂
To make the shadows I shaded first a lot with pencil, then colored with pencils and again with markers.
I'm especially proud of Regice, though I think screwed up with Registeel.

Sonic and Tails sprites (old version)
I'd like to know what you think of these. I'm not much into spriting and don't have much experience with it, either, but I gave it my best and think it looks quite nice.
Still, I'd like to know if there's anything I could've done better.
So please comment and tell me what you think. =)
The sprites are very very nice, especially if it's your first spriting job.
Since you asked for C&C, a few things:
-Sonic's spines look disconnected from his head. Simply erase the line at the back of the head for this.
-Sonic's left arm look like it's in sort of an akward position. If you like it that way, leave it as is as this isn't really a problem with the art.
-Tails' main body is absolutely perfect as is, but since you don't like the tails I think they should look like less of a flat disc. You'll have to ask someone with more sprite experience on how to achieve the effect you're going for.
All your other art is great and I can't really find anything to say about it other than good job =)

Aaaand I'm also coloring Shadow's Magical Quest in Pretty-Colorland 3. Since school is keeping me busy production is slow, but it seems sprites don't require as much dedication as coloring, so they're moving faster. :/
Some of your sprites are looking pretty good, Erika.
All of them have good proportions, though they look a little flat. Maybe a little more extra and/or darker shading on them will help with that. =D
And that last Shadow sprite is pretty cool. X3
I definately love your sprites...especially because you do them by hand. The colours on your sprites make them look unique...they aren't just the same old thing you normally see. Sweetness!
When I'm not feeling well emotionally, for example when I'm having a mood swing towards the angstyest part of the emotional spectrum, I not only feel more inspired to draw, but drawing also soothes me and helps me get my balance back.
My cat's death seriously messed me up, so I spent the entire Saturday morning and most of the afternoon drawing and drawing and drawing, which is why I'm feeling a lot better now. =)
I also managed to finish MQ3, which I'm posting here now! n_n
