Specifically, i'm curious to know what fan-made characters- in any Sonic Universe, inlcudding the ones created specifically by fans- would make their personal top 5.
The number can be larger or smaller depending on your needs.

It might help if there was some kind of, well, list to choose from or otherwise easily-accessible list of fan-characters.
Now, if you mean the favorites of someone's own fan-characters, then this will be easier. The main problem coming out of that, though, is that this becomes a self-advertisement thread.

Heck, just in the sonic universe, not counting any Crimson-spawn. I alone had over 130. Simply on my walls, that dosn't include the ones that existed only in notebooks.
So picking just five is a task of harshitude ;P
