A large Sonic Machine that Sonic is piloting is going to shoot some electrifying beams that will destroy Robotnik. In the meanwhile, Robotnik is going to shoot a huge laser beam at Sonic. Who will win? Possibly no one.

Technically it's a sprite comic if it's got speach bubbles. Enlarging sprites like that makes it look tacky and using the Carni-Isle boss beam blaster in the side of Sonic's head is ridiculous... what's it attached to?

That's a robot that Sonic is piloting. You can say that that thing that Sonic is shooting is hanging on his shoulder. I still found this kind of funny.

I'm sorry, but that is far too cluttered and as such it's really hard to tell what's going on. Regardless, two things jump out at me as being wrong:

1). The speech bubble. It would be a more convincing hoax without it, as never in a Sonic game do you have the characters speaking in speech bubbles. As Craig said, with the speech bubble, it's a comic, not a hoax.
2). Different resolution sprites. When you resize a sprite, you can't then superimpose it into images at their original size, as the larger sprites will appear unusually blocky in comparison and look ugly and fake.

First of all I'm using MS Paint. Who cares whether it's perfect? And Photoshop is a less professional way of editing in my opinion. You can still make really great stuff with MS Paint.

lol kid... I use MS Paint a lot, but it is no where near as professional as Photoshop. You do realize that most people in the industry use it, right?

And hell, Macs are a usually what people in the industry use. And last time I checked, MS Paint isn't out for Macs.

What i meant is that some quotes are silly enough to get in to the "Quote of the Whenever" And this one just happens to be in my opinion.

A sprite comic? All you need is an image-editing program (like Photoshop or MSPaint), sprite sheets of characters (either made yourself or you can get it off the internet) a script, and of course, backgrounds.

Just make sure if you're using official characters, you put the proper disclaimer, and if the sprites you got aren't ones you've made yourself, you give credit to whoever ripped or made them.

Why, you ask? Because if you don't, that means you just stole them.

As for making the comic itself, you'll have to look up a tutorial on that. I tried making a sprite comic myself using Photoshop, but I got impatient with it. I find it better to draw it out and such.

of course you can post them. as you've a thread dedicated to your stories already, a second thread is allowed for artwork, as long as you don't make any more.

LWS, send a PM to a mod if you don't know how to do something, or ask in the EVC. we're happy to help, you know that.
