I am perhaps the only fan of SONIC and the original 1979 GUNDAM series (Mobile Suit Gundam).
I'm just having A LOT of trouble coming up with which Sonic characters should play who.
A long time ago, SHQ had Sonic/[...] crossover lists in the fan fair section. They were similar to what I'm asking for.
I need all the help I can get.

Thats what the whole section is for. I'd fire off your ideas first and maybe someone else will chime in. I don't really have any interest in gundam so I can't really add anything.

I was a fan of Gundom Wing, but not Mobile Suit Gundom. However, I think that Shadow would be good for that guy who always wore a mask.
