Hey, it's me, LWSrocks! I've returned since my long vacation in 2007. Now, LWSrocks is back in 2008! I might have visited a few times in my vacation, I cant remember. Anyways, I'm coming back with a new fanfic based on Toontown. I might of posted something very similar to this a while back, but I thought maybe I could reborn it, and bring it back. It should come around April and May, if it comes at all. Well I'm glad to be back!
You still haven't grasped the idea that there is more than one subforum I see =/
And webas
*shunts it over to MFC* this isn't the place for this sort of thread, this forum is for art, writing and other creative projects. *bops socks on the head with her spork* ^^
new fanfic based on Toontown.
D= To clarify people, Toontown is basically a WoW for kids made by Disney. Geared for kids by broadcasting commercials (many times I might add) over Disney networks and day time Cartoon Network. Probably Nickelodeon as well. Have you noticed a lot of these kind of things marked to today's children right now? A lot of toys and or plug in statues that use a online world, most of the time you have to collect more to unlock more stuff. Their commercials play over and over again, sometimes twice in one commercial break...which is bad since every network (even CN now) has several tiny commercial breaks, to the point that the credits of one show has to be in the same space as the opening of the next show. So kids are truly buying into that kind of hype, huh? I guess they can't help it. As the ones they are being knocked over the head with are the first of its kind to them.
But still D= Be prepared for him making a new thread which is the trailer of the trailer for this.
Also another thing that makes me flip the channel whenever it is advertised.
toontown rocks i can throw pie at a evil con
Ah, LWS, how we missed thee.
Thanks Spiner, but I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not? LOL. Toontown rocks too, I think.
God. He has like half as many posts as me.
How did he do that? D:
I have more than both of you!
i haev mor lulz wat do i win
WeBa, Socks, and whatnot. =o
Kioren, do you think I'm new???
no, he's just been here for four more years
Socks, you so cool WOOOO welcome home (this is not sarcasm! ...neither is that. (<- or that))
No Acrio, you can't have him. I forbid it. Don't corrupt his poor mind just yet. Let him get into High School first.
But he's so advanced *dissolves*
I did a trial run on Toontown, my nephew wanted to play it so I had to see if it was a cesspool or not. For a kids MMO it's suprising well thought out. Especially the tutorial, which is mandatory, at least when I did it.
If they can write novel's about crappy WoW, he can do it with toontown. They both have the same level of content.
Oh, and welcome back Socks, as you can see the Yuku switch didn't chase off any of our 'problems'.

It's nice to see people who are glad to see me. But I was thinking of leaving permanently so I don't cause trouble. But maybe if I stay, I can learn more on the rules here. Which should I choose? And, Shifty, are you like Acrio's Second Account or something? Someone called you Acrio... And thanks for calling me cool :-)) (I seriously have an extra chin)
Shifty is Acrio's Mewchu form.

WB So this Toontown place then. Do you get to interact with Disney characters?
DW
I guess... In a way. You can run up to them in the Neighborhood Playgrounds and they'll say something stupid. Examples: "Hey, nice to see you, Sir Scooter Hulahoffer!" and "I think I should ride the trolley... Boy do I love fruit pie!"
I remember a couple of Disney mascots standing around. I'm not sure if they gave quests later on or if they were just scenery. and yeah, like Socks said they will say cryptic and sometimes creepy things to you.
~Tobe
They don't ussually say weird things to you, and if you really play Toontown, you will then understand the point of: "I'm gonna go ride the trolley. I like pie!"
