Okay guys. It's been a while, so I'm here to a bit of recruiting, or at the very least, showing off some of the projects that me and my friends work on.
In any case, if you're interested in doing any work for ECC, post some of your best artwork in this thread and I'll tell you if you're good to go or not. Take in mind though, we do hold some form of something related to a high comic company standard, despite the fact that we do fancomics, so what we're looking for is quality. So, just as a heads up, I don't want anyone to be upset if they're rejected. If you're rejected and you're still interested in some way, let me know and perhaps I can give you a critique. I'm always up to helping people.
So, anyway, our positions are as follows.
Pencilers, Inkers, Colorists, Letterists, and Writers.
One note on the writers though, I'll have to forward that to our head writer, the almighty Nuckles87.

These are the projects that we work on. Like I said, this is to show you the kind of stuff that we do. So if you're interested, drop on by and sit a spell, if not, then I hope you enjoyed the various projects that me and my colleagues are working on.

I'm interested, as it would be a good outlet and actually meeting deadlines would give me the impetus to get off my fuzzy tail and draw comics for a change, but I'd need to now things like what sort of scheduals you work to, how many pages you want per artist, the reletive velocity of the moon and your general comic proceedures, that sorta thing...
At a bare minimum, we're trying to ask for at the very least 5 pages per artist. As for deadlines, we're finally starting to get those worked into whatever we can, but since several of us are in college or some form of school, it's proven rather difficult, but we do like to be timely, if possible.
As for procedure, it's relatively simple. You do your art and then submit it for review. If it passes it's good to go, if not, then we send it back to the artist for corrections. We try to model ourselves after the pro comic companies, since many of us want to actually do comics of some sort professionally one day. I hope that answers your question.

On that note do you have a five page sample script to work with for these submissions? It might be a good Idea.
Hey, I'm the headwriter of ECC. 
Chances are, you'll be drawing one of my scripts at one point or another. I will gladly send you some pages from some of my scripts to test how you do varios scenes. It includes a rather epic full page spread from Sonic Pulse #2, that will weigh heavily on my personal opinion of your stuff.

Okay, I'm compiling it now. It's three pages from Pulse #2, one page from a one shot Shadow story, and one page from Pulse #1. This page from Pulse #1 gave one of our artists some trouble, so....
I'm really interested in seeing some photobucket pages. Is that Mario avatar yours?
In fact, I have to apologize for getting ahead of myself. We should see SOMETHING from your photobucke before we waste your time with pages. We had to reject quite a few people on SEGA.com, although not all.

A few pages from a comic I was working on pages for that got lost in editorial hell 3 years or so ago now. I actually knew nothing at all about the archie verse at the time, so that made drawing this... interesting to say the least =D

I would love to help with fan comics, I can't draw but Im constantly coming up with Knux & Dark legion stories in my head! If the Knux redux Writer ever needed help with a story arc I'd be honored to help out!

What exactly are you looking for in terms of writing?
We...by and large have writers at the moment. Right now we are just filling the rosters of current projects to get them running smoothly so we can have regular releases.

Yeah, sorry about that. It turns out that not only am I now a lot lazier than I expected, I'm also so out of practise that its taking me yonks to do anything. I've got a couple of the test pages done (The second one was fun BTW) but I'm being a big ole lazy git about it.
So yeah. Count me out, I fail on actually getting round to doing things, bloody procrastination. I'll still send them to you when they are done like, and myhap I'll give you a shout when I've practised some more and got back up to a speed where I'd be of use to you. For now however, you'd just be waiting and waiting on me.

Yeah, I understand. Still wanna see what you have though. Just because yer out of practice fer YOU don't mean you aint ready for us from a quality standpoint.
Quality is okayish, it's more the fact I seem to have developed artist ADD >> So yeah, I'll send them to you when done, but untill I can consitently sit and draw without wandering off into some other picture, you won't want me. Unless you LIKE delays ;P
