It's that time of year! The time for kidnapping vegetables, ripping out their innards and carving funny faces into them! Post you devilish creations here. (I will as soon as I'm able.)
???? Dude, that's, just tottally crazy. 1. People don't ussually carve pumpkins at this time yet. 2. WHo would KIDNAP VEGETABLES?
I mean, VEGETABLES. And 3. pumpkins don't have innards.
<.< @ LWSrocks
1) Its October and never to early to get started, at least sketching designs
2) People take pumpkins from their farms all the time, ripping them apart from their dear brothers and sisters
3) You haven't carved a pumpkin, have you? Its all gooey inside which you have to scoop out
You know a pumpkin is a fruit and not a vegetable, right, LWS?
NO! Who would know that? I was freaked by the way he said it... He made it sound like:
Ok gang, the Great Pumpkin Heist is on. Now i'll go in the farm where all our victims will be... you guys cover my backs. Once we have the pumpkins, we will KILL THEM! Rip out their insides and...
Make a smily face on them and put them on our doorsteps! ^.^
You are going to hunt down, kidnap and kill the Great Pumpkin?
Boy oh boy linus will NOT be happy with you...
then, we will DEVOUR their innards in a variaty of yummy soups and other meals! ^^
i'm not that good at pumpkin carving as we don't celebrate halloween at home, but i might give it a go this year and give it an annoyingly cute face.
how do you stop the candle from burning the top of the pimpkin? mine starts smoking after an hour or so. oo;
Ha ha! TTG and Kaze with the one two punch! LWS didn't know what hit him the crazy confused kid!!!
(In other words don't be too hard on the guy Kaze, since TTG did say vegetable and LWS was just following suit. Read up on pumpkins -ie the first three paragraphs- to see where the confusion is)

"Vegetable" is a term that is purely culinary. Although a pumpkin is a fruit, it is not incorrect to call it a vegetable as well.
Quote:
fruit = the ripened ovary of a flowering plant
Ah, that helps clear stuff up. I leaving it as vegetable tho. >=D
Pumpkin pie. That is indeed the only function of pumpkins as far as I'm concerned.
Maybe pumpkin bread too. But the pumpkin pie is the real reason for pumpkins to even exist.
If someone could do one of those head silhouette things of Sonic and Knuckles or Sonic and Shadow, like from the logos of their respective games, that would be cool.
But I got nothin' as far as pumpkin power goes.
maybe I'll find and upload the flag I did...
I actually did a Sonic silhouette on mine, like the Sonic Adventure promotional stuff. @ Terg
Yo terg, theres acctually MANY reasons for Pumpkins to exist, INCLUDING pumpkin pie.
Theres Pumpkin Soup, Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream, (Which my sister loves), and Pumpkin Cake, (I think).
hello
It's beautiful. :`D
I find it necessary to express my love for pumpkin pie as well. Also for that knife in the face.
PW! <3 That's awesome.
Linus will be angry about you pumpkin killer! Did you use my plan in murdering that pumpkin?
that pumpkin was dead long before i even bought it
i just mutilated it a little
lol. The Objection Pumpkin is awesome. The screaming knife stuck in eye pumpkin is disturbing.
If you leave a pumpkin out for squirrels to eat they will get drunk because the inside of the pumpkin eventually ferments into alcohol. Apparently this is common in nature with certain kinds of fruits and animals get drunk all the time. This happened to me a few years ago when I spent Halloween with my grandmother. I thought the squirrel was dying. lol
And I found a YouTube video that pretty much shows what a drunk squirrel looks like. From the exact same situation XD
www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ikH9ZRcF2Q XD drunk squirrel.
Thanks
lol @ the squirrel
of course. that's what inspired me to stab a pumpkin in the eye.
lol hey
I remembered I wanted to post in here, but then I forgot, but then the topic got bumped and I remembered, but then I forgot. Now I remembered.
this was my thing.
I never even knew about the "half-carve" thing, where you carve the pumpkin shell just a little bit, but not all the way through, enough to make light shine through the thinned flesh and stuff. I never knew about that till this year. We always just carve it all the way through.
Yeah, so that's that.
We don't carve pumpkins here like that.We just eat them instead
