Pretty Good re-colors. One problem for all three though: The Black.
Black is the worst color to use, because it has no darker tones. You can use a grey, with Black as the Darkest tone, but Don't do just all black, It makes everything... flat, because there is no shading.
Yes. General rule of thumb: nothing is pure black. Ever. Even the darkest shades have SOME blue or purple to them. So, instead of flat black, make it a very, VERY subdued gray.
And for the love of Pete keep it to one topic, two was okay but three's crossing the line...
Yeah, I bought a book the other day about drawing Manga and it said in it that when colouring black, grey should be used for shade!

The sprites are good! I must agree that the black makes the pics look a little odd. Their feet look flat. But, otherwise, they are good!
I would determine a light source and decide where it is coming from. Then, I would take whatever grey I feel is needed and creatively colour the area to be dark eg Amy's dress. Then, I'd finish the rest in black. But, again, that's just me.
You gotta admit, not bad though... And where the HELL are my Julie-Su Sprites I made years a go? ???o.o???
