I made these gifs last year on my old comp. Since i found the disk I decided to upload them to phot bucket and post them here. I would make new ones but my Namo CD has flown the coop.

I really like this one, amazing how easy it was to make the loop by just sliding him

it's a shame you've had the animation of zero streached in your avatar, it looks much better properly.
(in your avvy, it's more of a wagging 'tail' then hair. :P)

yes, i was also wondering why they're 'hot'. but i can now see why. *kidnaps zero and forte* >>

have any of them been edited by yourself, or are they made up of sprites ripped from the games?
the last animation with the added slide does make the loop run smoothly, much better then some animationss where the character 'jumps' when it loops. nicely done!

Pretty good overall, but there are a few issues to work out. Although you've said you've lost your animation software (at least, that's what you make it sound like; I don't know what Namo is), the following criticism is for future reference should you attempt similar animations in the future or obtain new animation software.

The second Forte one, with only two frames, doesn't look natural at all: in IE, where it animates slowly, he seems to be pulsating; in Firefox, where it animates stupidly fast, he seems to be vibrating bizarrely. I'm not sure what you intended to do with this animation, so I can't offer any helpful advice.

For the final one, it'd probably look better without the pause between the end of the slash and the beginning of the slide. At the moment it looks like he comes to a stop then randomly starts moving along the floor, as such it looks completely unnatural. Just removing the pause before the slide might suffice, although you might also experiment with merging the slash and the slide into one. Though to be fair, it is a good job of making the animation loop otherwise.

The hair moves unnaturally in the first Zero one - like Becca said, it's more like a wagging tail. Perhaps you should either keep it as is (maybe slowing it down a tad) but have it only animate once (making it seem as though he's just turned around and his hair is settling into place) or slow it down so that it seems to be swaying gently in some kind of breeze.

Finally, the firing sprite would look a lot better if the hair was flat against him or moved with the recoil (although the latter seems unlikely, as the gun seems designed to minimise recoil. Come to think of it, would energy weapons even have recoil?)

Dude.... Thats how it is in the sheets, Zeros hair does not move while he fires. As for the pulsating thing, that was the point. Zero Slidedash was the most complicated Gif to make, hence the slide at the end to keep the loop from skipping. To me the one that was meesed up the most was X running, becuase if you look close enough his leg strechs out a bit. I did these without editing the sprites what-so-ever, so it you have a problem with some of the movments, take it up with Capcom. Gwahaha!!! (Becca was talking about how my Avy was strech and not the actual gif anyways)

i do see what he means about zero sliding. he's being all cool with his weapon and stops for a moment..THEN slides forwards. if you took away that pause, it'd look like his momentum from the attack is making him slide.
