Don't feel bad. It happens all the time with that particular drawing of him. I actually edited that pic with the short hair because the original long haired design looked exactly like a girl. So yeah. XD I'm slowly fixing that though. Hopefully I'm in the clear with the newer pics of him. ^^;

The changes I made to newer images were to not let his hair go past his chin.
He actually HAS a chin now.
I draw his eyebrows thicker so they are more visible under his hair.
I really watch it with his figure.
He's got a shorter coat. More along the lines of a sports jacket.
Most importantly, I've been working on poses too. It's been a big help.

And boy was that a long explaination for such a crappy character design. Oh well. Have a laugh at Jet's expense. =D

Yay! This is my first time asking for a request, so bear with me if I make it sound too complicated.

Basically, the character is my own; Ultra Sonic 007, aka Jonathon Redley. His body is that of Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Adventure style body), but his shoes are the classic Sonic shoes (red with a white stripe across the middle). He wears khaki pants and a black, sleeveless shirt. He wears a ragged red cape (think Superman, except the bottom of the cape looks like a pit bull's had its way with it. Basically, the bottom part's in tatters). His right arm is a normal Sonic arm (tan arm with a white glove on his hand), but his LEFT arm is entirely different, for it's fake. It's kind of like Edward Elric's right arm in Fullmetal Alchemist, except Redley's left arm is made of adamantium. The arm itself is silver colored, and is segmented only around the elbow, wrist, and shoulder joints. The hand itself looks kind of like a stereotypical armored hand (think like the armor of a European knight), with segmented fingers to allow for movement.

Ultra's head looks exactly like SA Sonic's, except he's not smiling (basically, an indifferent look, almost on the verge of a frown). His spikes below the neck are hidden by his cape, and his tiny hedgehog tail juts out from a small hole in his khakis. The thing is, Ultra and Redley are alter-egos; as Ultra, the eyes are green. As Redley, the eyes are red.

I kind of want a pose (nothing big, just him standing in a stationary pose) for Ultra. In his right hand, I want him holding his laser blaster (it looks exactly like a black Colt .45 handgun, by the by). The pose I'm thinking of is like this:

Except from a different viewpoint (from the artist's standpoint, you're looking at Redley's body at a 45 degree angle, to his left)

For the purposes of the picture (to highlight the two alter-egos), I'd like the right eye to be Ultra's eye color (emerald green, like Sonic's) while the left eye to be Redley's eye color (blood red). His eyes should be focused into a semi-glare of sorts.

At last, the background...well, it doesn't really matter. You can do whatever you want with that.

Sorry if I made it sound too complicated. I tried to simplify as much as possible. ^_^;

I'll definately give it a try. I don't know when it'll be done but I'll get it to you when it is. Good description. I like it when folks know what they want me to do. I'll get on it really soon. ^_^

Nah, doesn't fit. Too much skin (shaving hedgehogs = WRONG).

Besides, NO ONE can make a hedgehog look good in a dress. Not even Michaelangelo.
