Everything here is very dancey and technoey, so if you like fast and heavy things, I reckon you will be pleased. Please give it a consider? I beg of thee.

Anyhoo! I say things now.

I've done a couple of Kingdom Hearts remixes that included elements from A Fight to the Death, Dearly Beloved, Simple and Clean, Passion, and Organization XIII. I also did a mix of Arabian Dream, in which I made it heavier and more forceful. =D I really like the bass synth. If you liked the music of Sand Ruins in Sonic Riders, you might enjoy the mix of Arabian Dream.

I did mixes of three old pokemon battle tracks, which remain my favorites to this day. I did the original trainer battle, the original gym battle, and the battle against the champion Lance. I suggest Gym and Trainer! My goal was to stay true to the originals, since they're already perfect, but at the same time adding more depth to make them listenable as more than gameboy tunes. I really like the results.

Also on the Nintendo track, I did two Legend of Zelda mixes, one a sped-up version of the original title screen, and the other a version of the mountain theme from Zelda DX. The latter stood the test of time well, I think, especially since I made it when I was 14 and I still like it 5 years later. Link in the City, on the other hand, is still fun to listen to, but it was never finished and kind of drops off at the end. Nonetheless, I get a giggle out of it because it's so fast and panicky.

And finally, my pride and joy -- I got to work hand-in-hand with Edward Elric's voice actor Vic Mignogna and remix his song Nothing I Won't Give. No lie. =D My name is there in the CD credits. I'm really proud that I ripped the sound of Ed's alchemy clap right out of Fullmetal Alchemist and used it as part of a drum turnaround. And also, I took the beginning melody of the song Brothers and technofied it near the end of the remix. =^^= -beams- If you listen to just one thing here, please make it this song. I beg you. It's the best thing I've ever done, and frankly, I still can't believe I had as large a part in it as I did. It's been played at more than one anime convention rave, and I've nearly cried at all the ones I was present for. If you're curious, the original version of the song is here.

I would love feedback on any of these. ^_^ They can all be found on this page here. My top suggestions are the Nothing I Won't Give remix, and the Gym and Trainer remixes. Arabian Dream, also.

Thank you so much for your time! -bow of appreciation-

I'll remark on these more or less in the order that I first heard them in, with my impressions.

Link in the City: I can see why this makes you giggle, somehow the sirens and fast beat combine to make it very light-hearted and cheerful. It made me chuckle a bit, particularly since I'm very familiar with it as a Legend of Zelda fan. The little manga Link icon cover art is cute too.

Mountain Theme, Legend of Zelda DX: Again familiar, as I've put in plenty of hours playing replaying this game - both its original incarnation as an original Game Boy game as well as its DX version on the Game Boy Color. This feels somewhat epic, especially toward the end with the string variation on the theme, without being too heavy.

Pokemon Trainer Battle: Heck I might as well not bother saying whether or not it's familiar; I've played all of the games of all the remixes you did. It does stay true to the original tune, and even reverts to the actual original music toward the end as it prepares to drop off. It does feel like what you did mostly was emphasize the normal tune with an enhanced beat. It's a good effect.

Pokemon Gym Battle: Same as with the Trainer Battle above, I believe you achieved your goal. The use of bell sounds helps make this more epic (strange that word keeps coming up) than the Trainer Battle.

Pokemon Champion Lance: This one didn't impress me quite as much, but then again I didn't like the original version of this one quite as much, so that may account for it more. This seems a bit more frenetic once it gets into the enhanced parts, making the battle seem more desperate...and full of possible turnarounds.

Kingdom Hearts rave mix: I liked the song this one is based on, that being "Simple and Clean," but in a way I like this remix because it omits the lyrics and puts a more hopeful spin onto it. It also feels smooth.

KH grand mix: It seems bubblier than the original "Dearly Beloved" with elements of "Simple and Clean" mixed in with light tones...bubbly as in texture, if such a thing can be used. Sort of reminds me of music from some of the earlier Kirby games, specifically the cloud stages. It is rather pretty.

Mix XIII: This one's got a lot of elements from various songs attached to it, combined into a slow-starting but fast-paced number. It sort of does a reversal where it starts, goes through different themes, then returns to the starting point to continue that particular theme.

Arabian Dream: Yup, that bass synth is in there. Seems to stay mostly true to the original version, but adding a few more turban-wearing curly-toed-shoe arid Arabian acrobats into it, figuratively speaking.

Nothing I Won't Give remix: After hearing the original version for comparison and contrast, the remix carries a faster pace and a beat suited to battle music (or at least, as I would imagine it to be cool to fight to music; I often use songs to help me visualize for my stories, and since there are a fair number of battles, you can only imagine how many battle themes I need :P). Some elements of the song even remind me of themes I could emphasize in one of my later stories. Hence, inspirational.

Digital Light: I seem to get a sense of darkness from this piece, with the occasional higher-pitched parts sort of putting a moving spotlight through the scene. With the beat added, it could be a fast-moving train going through a tunnel, with occasional snatches of light from openings above. Though I get the feeling of water too...I'm sort of audio-visual here.

I put them onto their own playlist on my computer so I could listen to them today; I plan on adding a few of them to some of my other favorite playlists. Well done, and bravo that you got the chance to work with a prominent voice actor! I'm jealous in a friendly way, as I'm attempting to get into voice acting myself, and it must be awesome to brush shoulders with accomplished voice actors.
