Okay. This is technically fanart and I worked too long (45 hours o_o) and too hard (my poor mousing hand ;__; ) on this to not show it off.
and showing off new domain name 😀
i.e. Never put three obsessive Wicked fans in one chatroom with all their characters and see what happens. A conglomeration of my, Craig's, and Vortex's characters make up this picture. And I am freaking proud of this. ^^ There's one character missing, and I'm debating whether to add him in later or to just skip over him and add him somewhere else.
Also a call-out to any other Wicked fans and possible fanart ^^;

Cool. I wish I had talent. ;.;
Heh, Craig mentioned that you'd done this earlier to me in the chat. Pretty damn awesome, I must say; I can't quite recognise all the characters, their originals or those whom they're playing, I'll admit, tho I can see some of the more obvious ones: Glinda, Elpheba, Fiyero, Nessa, and...Boq, I presume? Which leaves too characters I'm uncertain about. Hmm, ah well.
Don't count on fanart from me - I can't draw with any lick of talent, plus I - currently, at least - lack a scanner. =P That said, once I've finished the book I may be inspired to do some writing at very least partially based upon the ideas of it - wouldn't be the first time it's happened.
Oh my God oh my God oh my God I love you.
Or at least I love your drawings.
Kidding, of course. You know I <3 you as, like, a really good friend. Seriously, though, it's a great piece of work. I've personally never heard of this... Wicked thing... but that's okay, I suppose I can still admire the art.
Wicked is the greatest musical of our times you uncultured swine!
It's the backstory of The Wizard of Oz and seriously is one of the best things you'll ever see on stage.
Okay, so I'm an uncultured swine. I've been called worse things.
LOL....what is Wicked...?
Surely "Wicked is the greatest musical of our times you uncultured swine!" was an indication.
I've had some of the tunes from the soundtrack stuck in my head recently, after listening to my sister's CD quite a bit. Sadly, I didn't get to see it with them this past New Year's, but I hear the tickets were bloody expensive, so, may not have been likely anyway.
But hey, that's why we have Wikipedia.
There's always the book, though.
I heavily recomend seeing the musical at some point, the songs are backseating to the plot, which is a very rare thing for a Broadway musical. The themes of morality, friendship and propaganda run strong throughout and it's certainly the most emotional tale I've ever sat through, especially given that the entire point of the play is to make us fall in love with the character we watched die in The Wizard of Oz. You almost start dreading the end, as over the journey of Elphaba's life, Stephen Schwartz's writing (and the acting of the cast) has made it impossible for you to dislike her, even as she decends into "Wickedness"
In the words of Willie "I dinnae cry when me fathur was hung fer stealing a pig... but I'll cry now!"
BEST. DAMN. STORY. EVER!
Huh? I get an error message. Guess I won't be viewing any fanart just yet. XD Though I'm interested in this "Wicked" folks keep talking about here. Oh well.
