Hey, gang. I just put these on my website, and I wanted to share them with you.
Since I arrived in the Belleville school district, I met a fellow math teacher in the middle school who has compiled an ever-growing set of drawing that were designed on a standard coordinate plane using graph paper. I grew inspired, and decided to start adding to his collection.
Here on my site's art page, I have posted my first three coordinate drawings, two of which are Freedom Fighters - Tails and Sally - in the SatAM style. I am in the process of working on Antoine, Rotor and Bunnie (although that tall ear is a PAIN). Later, when I can find good pictures to plot, I will convert Sonic, Knuckles, Robotnik, Snively, Rouge and Amy... and maybe more.
Let me know what you think, and I welcome all questions and attempts at my work.
by coordinates, do you mean a sort of 'join the dots' style of drawing?
I do, yes. The trick is that you have to plot the points in the right places on the grid so that the picture will make sense.
Incidentally, today I just added Antoine and the current version of Sonic. Also corrected Whammy and Sally because a couple of my students found a mistake or two. Enjoy!
