I've had a number of ideas buzzing around in my head for some time. I want to pick at least one to attempt writing a story with. But I don't know what to choose! A little help? None of these ideas have titles attatched to them yet as I haven't commited myself to writing any of them. In the event I actually chose one theres a damn good chance I'll disregard the others, leaving them as plot bunnies...even though they are crap.

1. A story that takes place in Blaze's dimension with Eggman Nega and the Sol Emeralds and all that.... Amy is transported there by accident and learns from Silver, Blaze's knight, that Blaze has been captured by Nega. Silver cannot rescue her alone because most of his powers have been drained. He convences Amy that working together, they can free Blaze and Blaze can send Amy back home. Unfortunately Amy is taken captive just as Blaze is freed.

Enter Sonic who comes to rescue Amy from Nega.

This story I'd probably focus a lot on Amy and her trials. It sort of peeved me that After Sonic Adventure she went right back to square one even though she said she was going to be independent and prove to Sonic her worth.

Roadblocks: How exactly do Amy and Sonic end up in Blaze's dimension? At two different times no less. I haven't quite figured this out. And most importantly I never played the Rush games myself. I've seen plenty of youtube videos though. I'd buy the games if I wasn't saving money for more important things like....ya know. Food.

2. This story idea is sort of an "origins" story that sprouted in my head after watching...of all things...Princess Tutu. Yes thats an anime for those of you who don't know. But the basic inspiration I got from it is that a person/spirit/god thing had extensive yet not total power over the lowley dwellers on earth. The writer wanted a great tragedy and his pawns had no choice but to follow the story as written. Only with the strongest of will power did they manage to change the course of their fates. So then I thought. Heh. Wouldn't it be funny if it turned out Sonic was some kind of god? Mostly stems from his ability to channel chaos energy. Chaos energy is usually shown as some kind of erthereal spiritual force that can be a best imitated by man. So if Sonic can channel this "holy energy" then that must make him some kind of erthereal being, right?

So yeah, my idea is. The "gods" (Think Greek mythology or something close to it) See that the world is going to come under great peril in the future. That threat being Eggman of course. So they create a demi-god. Sonic. Send him to Earth to defend it from all the evils of the world. But one day the "gods" get pizzed off at the Earth for whatever reason and order Sonic to destroy it. But Sonic doesn't want to. The heavenly forces not pleased and things get ugly. (Remember in Greek Mythology or whatever...the gods are basically really powerful humans. Meaning they have human flaws. And they are particularly moody )

In this story I want to look at things like Sonic's personality. Specifically his attitude which a lot of times comes off as un sympathetic and careless for the feelings of others, brash and haughty, and most of all his inability to return feelings of love the way Amy Rose wants him to. Also possibly dive into the possibility that Sonic only saves the world for sh**s n' giggles. Him being a demi-god and all life is just a big game to him. He understands sorrow....but its not the same as every body else. What will it take for Sonic to truely understand what it means to regret?

Roadblocks: This story would have to absolutely ignore Silver and the entirety of SA2. Because both Silver and Shadow can go super. Any desperate attempt of skirting around this fact is to say that they can't be as strong as Super Sonic because their means of going super is somehow artificial and not endowed by the gods.

3. This last story idea is about the Babylon Rogues. About the past history of the Babylonians and a war that broke out between them and the Echidnas of Angel island. It would be this brief yet initial war that whets Pachacamac's lust for power and dominance. We already know that Chaos wiped out Knuckles' tribe but what destroyed the Babylonians?

side: I wanted to write something like this because at the end of Sonic Riders: ZG, Knuckles seems to be awfully eager to mention something about the people of Babylon. But Amy cuts him off with her romantic ramblings. He knows something the others don't.Also,if the Babylonians were thieves...then shouldn't Babylon Garden be full of treasure? Its like a giant floating treasure trove. Who'd go the distance to try and steal an island?

In this story I'd like to use my crack theory of planetary travel being made easy for the convenience of the human race to make room for their expanding population. Mostly to other planets in the solar system. For the basic idea look no further than Cowboy Bebop. Planetary travel is just like taking a flight from Texas to California or something. Thats how I figured a lot of Sonic games would work. For insance Soleanna and Future City and Station Square exsist on 3 different planets. All run by their own seperate governments but are peaceful to one another. I kind of find it hard to believe that a princess can reign over a land with old palaces and stuff when just on the other side of the planet people are driving around in floating cars and having hoverboard races. And then on another side theres a humble little modern day setting like Station Square. (so for example SA2 and SA1 take place on Earth. But Sonic Next Gen and the Sonic Riders games take place on different planets)

Roadblocks: Well unlike the other two story ideas I can't think of too many roadblocks unless I totally screw up some kind of story line consistancy regarding canon. But hey this IS fanfiction. Nobody really knows why or how the Babylonians were wiped out so this is just my explaination. Also are Jet, Storm and Wave really the only 3 left? I could get shot for this but this would be my only idea where there is possiblity of OC. (Evacuate women and children!)

So these are flatline basic ideas I've had for like....i dunno a 2 months maybe. I can only chose one. I'd like to know from what you guys read here...which sounds the most appealing or fun to write? I might end up picking the story that goes against the popular vote but meh. I'd just like some input.
