I need help with my sprite comic. There's a picture of it below. (sorry if its too big)

Does anyone know how too get rid of that white background that surrounds Metal Sonic?

This is MSPaint, right? You paste Metal in. Now you're looking far left. There should be two buttons at the bottom of the columns of tools. The one at the top is highlighted. The other is not.

Change the highlighted button. All Metal's white parts should now be see-through.

Too much white space, crop that out.
You've squashed the level map. Leave it as it's original size.
Likewise you've stretched Metal Sonic. You should use the opacity tool so it blends with the background and leave it the size it was.

Here are my first 3 comics, I'm putting them on a Webcomic hosting site and I have to give in 3 to have an account.

- There's still white space here and there. Crop crop crop.

- .jpg reduces filesize nicely but in turn makes non-photo images look horrible. .gif is decent enough for most sprite related things; use it.

- Tails Doll has transparent pixels dotted around him. I'm going to assume you just happened to use one of the colours on TD as the transparent colour. Use a different one next time, like green or pink. Something none of the sprites involved have.

Your last link doesn't work. =/ Maybe it's just my computer or something, but I don't see any sprite comics when I click it.

i don't think you uploaded the image compleately.

I get the same as Becs with your newest one.

As for the other two...meh. The humor in the first two is...adequate, but not great, though I quite liked the third. I do however love the concept of intereaction between the three duplicates, it's a nice place to start.

But you need, need, need to get everthing to scale. the sprites currently look distorted and blotchy, and the panals are too big for the size and number of characters involved. Sort the layout. You NEED to.

Here are some new comics, they are smaller now.

Edit: Now they are too small. I'll try again.
I'm not using Photobucket anymore, i'm trying Inageshack.

Edit: I'm going to start a new topic because i'm going to host the comic on here.

All the advice given to you previously in this thread still stands because the only thing you seem to have listened to is the getting rid of white space thing. o.o

If{hahaha IF} MSPaint isn't doing .gifs properly for you, use IrfanView.

On the bright side, the dialogue has made a very slow, gradual improvement{tho the random "gay" spazout drags it down again} and you seem to be getting better at placing the sprites so that when put together the frames and story make a decent amount of sense.

Basically everything that HSW said. Irfanview is a must I think. The dialogue has gotten better as you kept at it though. Keep it up. You'll get better as you go. =)
