For the record, this is a thread for me to make art requests - not for others to make requests of me. I can't draw worth diddly-squat anyway.
The terms are, anyone can contribute to any request I make in this thread, at any time; there are no time limits or other requirements beyond the idea that the art should remain in a G-PG scale. Also, art may be submitted without specifically answering a request herein.
I recently joined a DA group, a club that features official characters from different universes who have been made into Nobodies from Kingdom Hearts II. To make out my ID card, I need a picture of my chosen character - Laguna Loire, of Final Fantasy VIII fame - dressed in the black garb of Organization XIII. For reference, here are some pics of Laguna that I found on the web, as well as a pic or two of Organization XIII members wearing the overcoat with hood. I'm willing to accept sprite edits as well as artwork of the more traditional kind.

The second half of this particular request thread thus far is meant to help me create a new avatar for my character, Tergonaut. I've been using the sprites that The Master Echidna made several years ago, and while they are excellent, I would like to have an updated avatar for my online accounts on message boards as well as on DA. Here are examples of Tergonaut as drawn by various artists, as well as past sprite works.

Wow. This seems to happen to my request threads, the first artist who replies sets the bar really high!
You are right about the helmet spike, but at the same time, if the suit is in mid-transformation, it could just not be fully-formed yet. That, and with the variety of artists who've drawn Tergonaut over the years, its positioning and length have varied.
The only thing I'm struggling with is the size of it. Even as liberal as our staff are here at this forum, I'd have to shrink it down to use as an avatar. 'Twould make an excellent DeviantID pic though at its present size. Cool!

Awesome. Although now the problem seems to be that my account won't let me attempt to use it as an avatar; I enter in the information and it blanks it out when I go to check the URL in my profile.
I've tested this with my current avatar; it stays in the personal pic link.
No sure what's wrong, but what should go in the slot is:

I found recently that a height or width that exceeds 200 => ez erase (perhaps to prepare for yuku forum movings?), so change height=200 in acrio's quote and it should work.
That was it, then; I tried it with another avatar that was taller than 200 and it erased it. So now it's sized to fit, yay.

Heh XD I've still got that pic stored on my comp. I've even used it for an IM avatar a couple of times.
