Ladies and gentlemen its time for another Rico birthday pic thread. As you recall from the last episode of Rico's Artist Birthday Survival of the half dozen artist's that attempted the piece only one survived to tell the tale and present a piece of artwork.
Will CJtails return this year? Will he triumph again? OR will another of the talented MoFo artists defeat the reigning (and soul surviving) champ. Or will all the artists rather drink battery acid than try to draw one my characters. Find out in 19 days!
Formalities aside, this year I want one thing. Kevin Adiabat. There are few surviving pictures of Rico's Gerbil protagonist. Only one sketch for reference.
Color scheme is dark. Kevin's fur is two tone grey with white muzzle and chest, hair is kinda messy and dyed black. Eye's are just a typical brownish color. Normally he just has on plain jeans and a black T-shirt, nothing fancy. Sneakers of some variety of dark colors. If you want to draw a jacket some dark green armyish hot topic thing would be the thing. If you wanna do a battle pose, awesome, gerbil boy packs two handguns of your own choosing or I can be detailed.
I'm really leaving the pose up to you, I can get specific if you want but I know a lot of artists like to use requests to experiment with poses and techniques. I'd prefer something a more angsty, he's THAT kind of character.
Main thing is I have like a dozen pics and sketches of Rico and Toby but next to nothing with Kevin in it.
For Kevin's sake, and for my birthday... Help me mofo artists, you're my only hope.
I think I'll give it a shot. Just don't expect it to be in color. I suck at coloring.
Judging by my recent lecture notes, I plan to give this a try =3

Not one iota. Looks awesome. I don't know what good luck charm I had this year but its now the 28th, noone has died AND a buncha people have down pics up from me.
