Only one of the best icons in music history, along with Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix. Oddly enough they were all 27 when they died and all their deaths had an involvment of drugs. Y'see, Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix overdosed (sofar as I know), where as Kurt Cobain supposedly shot up enough Heroin to kill a horse and supposedly shot himself.

Anyway he was the lead singer of the band Nirvana. By the way, who got all the rights to Nirvana? I know Curtney Love didn't, praise the lord.I know one of the band members just kind of dropped out of the public eye, but who got the rights to all of Nirvana's stuff?

Okay, thanks for the history lesson, that explains a lot to me too. I wasn't in the US around the time that he died, so that's probably why I didn't hear anything about him.

But my question is, why all the tributory art now after he's been dead for over a decade? oo

Because people worship this dead, talentless drug addict like he's a god.
