Ok, guys! Remember in the "I'm Back!" topic, I told of a new Toontown fanfic? Well, that fanfic is no more. But that doesn't mean I wont be doing a new Fanfic! Check out my new fic, called The Sonic Challenge. I hope you enjoy, and I hope you at least get a slight chuckle here and there. So here it is- The Sonic Challenge!

Sonic Challenge

Chapter 1: The Attempt

It was bright and early morning. Amy popped out of bed, and was headed straight for her dresser. She put on some clothes, and some make-up, and ran for the car. Amy was in a rush. She zoomed down the street, checking her mirror, and after 15 minutes she was at the HQ. She went inside, and called out for Sonic. "Sonic! Yoo-hoo! Sonic!" Sonic slowly came into the main room, where Amy was. "You called?" Sonic asked. Amy then replied, "Yes, Sonic. I was wondering if you were free Saturday night." Sonic lowered his eyebrows. "Yes, but if this is what your asking, I WILL NOT GO ON A DATE WITH YOU FOR THE 53rd TIME!" Sonic replied. For a second they started to ignore the subject of their conversation as Amy asked, "You've been counting?" and Sonic replied, "No, Tails has." Then, they remembered what they were talking about and Amy's head drooped down as she slowly left the room. Amy was heartbroken.

For the rest of the day, she was cranky. She sat on the steps that lead to the garage in her house, and tears began to slowly roll down her furry face. All of a sudden, there was a knock on the door. Amy's head came up and she thought of Sonic there to apoligise. Unfortunatley, it was just Cream and Cheese coming to ask if they could watch her TV. Amy, with anger, yelled "GET OUT!" and slammed the door in Cream's face. Amy was furious. 53 failed attempts, and Sonic still wouldn't go out with her. Then, she thought of a sneaky plan. Amy thought maybe, she could blackmail Sonic into dating her...

Chapter 2: The Call

Back at the HQ, Tails was in his lab. He was just playing around with some robot parts when an ugly, scary, face came up on the message screen. "Dr. Robotnik!" Tails shreiked with fear. "Yes, I have called to talk with Sonic." said Dr. Robotnik. "He'll be right there sir!" Tails muttered in a whiny voice. Tails brought Sonic into the room, and Tails flew out the door. "You rang?" asked Sonic. "Yes, and I would like to challenge you to a robot face off. Winner recieves a Chaos Emerald." replied Robotnik. "And you seriously think that you can beat me!? No way." said Sonic. Dr. Robotnik growled, and asked, "So are you up to the challenge!?"

"Yeah, duh," replied Sonic. "Then it's settled. We fight in two weeks. Got it?" "Got it."

Sonic told Tails of the battle planned. "Hmmm.... I guess I have to build you a robot now." Said Tails with a sigh. He went into his lab and started writing out the blueprints for the robot. He knew he would have to make one of the best robots he had ever built, because Tails had a strange feeling that Robotnik had some tricks up his sleeve. He thought it was a trap. Like maybe, the battle would take place near water, the one thing Sonic fears. He knew it would be something, and that thought interrupted his sketching. He was getting too busy thinking of what Robotnik might be planning... He knew it was something. So Tails was up all night, editing his blueprints. He would have to make it able to travel on water, able to fly, able to travel on land, and it would have to have super attack abilitys. Missle launchers sticking out of each shoulder! Pistol barrels popping out of the stomach! And he would probably need more than that....

Chapter 3: The Blackmail

Amy had went shopping for 5 hours straight. In that time, she bought black sweat shirts and pants, and a mask, to break into Sonic's rooms in the HQ. She was also planning to stop by Tails' room, knowing Sonic leaves important stuff in there all the time. So she knew that she'd need something to blackmail him with, and what Amy got her hopes up for was something like a diary or a journal. She could get a juicy secret to blackmail Sonic with, and possibly find out the truth of if Sonic likes her or not. She was really hoping her plan would work. Later, at 3:00, she knew Sonic would be asleep by then. She didn't know about Cream, but she could easily sneak past Cream with her eyes glued to the TV all night. So anyways, Amy jumped out of her window, and landed in a bush, then thought to herself: "Why didn't I leave through the front door?" After taking 5 seconds to answer that question, and failing, she remembered what she was doing and climbed out of the bush.

She walked into the driveway and hopped into her car. She zoomed to the HQ the same way she did that morning, and then hopped out. She went in, to see Cream's eyes luckily glued to the TV. She looked as if she started watching at 6:00 and hadn't closed her eyes the whole time. Amy crept into Sonic's room, to hear loud snoring and see trash scattered everywhere. She tiptoed, spreading her feet out far trying to avoid stepping in the trash. Amy was startled when Sonic turned over. She made a loud thud. Sonic turned back over, opened his eyes a bit, and because of his eyes pointed to the ceiling he didn't see a thing. Amy looked everywhere. There was nothing valuble, and nothing secret like a journal. Amy sighed and left to see Tails' room. Unfortunatley, there was nothing valuble there that she could see really quickly either. But then, she checked Tails' desk and saw the robot blueprints. She knew they must be important, so she snagged them and quickly left the HQ.

Chapter 4: The Surprises

Tails woke up at 6:30 that morning, so he could get to work on the robot. To his surprise, the blueprints were gone. Tails searched everywhere. The blueprints were definatley not in the HQ. Meanwhile, somewhere at Dr. Robotnik's HQ, Robotnik was planning something dirty. His plan was, that he could lure Sonic somewhere so he could kill him. The plan was sloppily written in big letters made of crayon, and that's all he had. But then he started to think of how to lure him. If one of his robots captured one of Sonic's freinds, Sonic would have to save him/her. But then, his twisted mind thinking Amy was Sonic's girlfreind, he sent Zero to capture Amy.

It was 12:00. Amy had slept in. All of the night before was a haze. When Amy woke up at 12:15, the lights were off. The windows were closed. And Amy didn't remember doing any of those things before she fell asleep at 4:12 the night before. Just then, a light shone through the small opening in the door. "Who's there?" asked Amy quietly. The door started to open, Amy screamed with fear. It was Zero. He grabbed her and shot out the door, leaving it open. Amy screamed and fought and yelled, but no one could hear her. Eventually, Amy went unconsious. She let out a gasp and slowly closed her eyes. Soon enough, Zero arrived at the Egg-Quarters. Some other robots carried Amy on to a metal bed, as Dr. Robotnik laughed mischiviously and shreiked, "Once Sonic finds out I trapped Amy, he'll be here in no time!" But apparently, Sonic didn't care. He was up, and trying to help Tails find the missing blueprints.

Tails sat down to think. Right then, Sonic put on his communicator watch and he zoomed out of the HQ.

Chapter 5: The Save

Sonic was running all across Angel Island, while Tails was at the HQ trying to think of what happened to the blueprints. Tails was smart. He knew he could figure it out. Then Tails remembered. He was listening in when Amy asked Sonic out. That was all Tails could think of. He went into the HQ garage and fired up the X-Tornado. He could see police cars parked around Amy's house. Tails thought that was sure confirmation that Amy stole something, like his blueprints. When he landed his plane, he walked through shoving every single police man out of the way, and shredding the yellow tape by speedily spinning his tails. When he went in, there was nobody home. Amy wasn't there. So maybe Tails was wrong, it was possible Amy didn't steal the blueprints. When he exited her house, he asked "What is going on!?!?" The police man came to him. "Are you aware that a kidnapping has been taken place here?" the police man asked. "No!" Tails replied. Another police man came over and said, "You better stay away from this house for now, sport." A tear rolled down Tails' face. He slowly climbed into the X-Tornado and headed off. No matter how much Tails thought Amy was annoying, there was a small corner of his heart that liked her. Anyways, Tails fired up the X-Tornado, and left.

Tails remembered seeing Sonic put on his communicator watch. He turned on his, and flew to a place where he could get good bars. Once he did, he contacted Sonic and told him that Amy was in trouble and had been kidnapped. "Really?" asked Sonic. Tails replied with a "Yeah.". "I'll be on my way!" said Sonic. Strangly, Sonic started running faster than he ever did. It was amazing. All that you would see if you looked at him, is a blue blur. Soon enough, Sonic met Tails by Amy's house. Sonic then noticed all the police men crowded around Amy's house. Sonic was amazed. He started to think. What if Shadow captured her? Or Knuckles? Or Rouge? Then it hit im. Robotnik. At the Egg-Quarters, Amy eventually became consious again. Dr. Robotnik was continuously slamming his fists on his desk screaming, "WHERE IS SONIC!? WHERE IS SONIC!? WHEERE ISS SOONIC!!!!" Snivley, Robotnik's scrawny assistant, walked in to the room. "I-I think there is a flaw in your plan, sir." Muttered Snivley. "WHAAT!?!?!" Yelled Robotnik. "Y-Y-You see, you did g-great. B-But, h-how will he know where his f-freind is??" stammered Snivley. Robotnik was about to scream. Then, he thought, Snivley acctually had a point. But, his smart-aleky ways drove him to act like Snivley was a total idiot and that Robotnik's plan would work. That's what he does. Little did he know Sonic was actually on his way right that moment... Right when he figured out Robotnik kidnapped Amy, Sonic forged on speedily, faster than Tails turned his head.

Once Sonic got there, he kicked Robotnik right in the nuts. He twirled Snivley up in the air, and threw him out a window. "WHERE IS AMY!?!?!" Sonic growled. Robotnik pointed his finger at the metal bed, and there was nothing there. Robotnik gasped. "W-Where did she go!?!?" stammered Robotnik. Sonic smiled and blasted out. Amy was being chased around by Zero in front of the Egg-Quarters. Then, a signal came in through the communicator watch. It was Tails. "Come in Sonic!" exclaimed Tails. "I here you loud and clear," replied Sonic, standing now on the roof, watching the chase. "I sent a transporter balloon to the Egg-Quarters. You have to guide her to it. Do it fast, I have the feeling Robotnik is coming!" said Tails. "Alright," replied Sonic. Amy was having a hard time running away from Zero. Sonic leaped off the roof and yelled to Amy, "Follow me!". Thats exactly what she did. Zero was right behind them, firing bullets at them. Amy grabbed Sonic's hand, and they zoomed towards the transporter balloon. Sonic was getting slower and slower by the second, for Amy had put on a lot of weight during her time of depression. Sonic was almost to the transporter balloon, but a fleet of Buzzy Badniks (can't think of their real name) were shooting at Sonic. Sonic went unconsious. Amy headed straight for the balloon. But then, she grabbed Sonic's communicator watch so she could contact Tails for help. So she did. Tails flew the X-Tornado to the spot where Sonic got KO'd, but before he helped Sonic up he had to fight off the Buzzy Badniks so that they couldn't damage the plane. That is where Tails' new Missile Launcher updates came in handy. The missiles blasted off at least 15 Badniks at one time! Once they were all destroyed, Tails brought Sonic to the HQ so they could meet up with Amy.

Chapter 6: The Chase

When they got to the HQ, Amy looked slightly beat up. She started to slowly pull something out of her pocket... the blueprints. She jumped up and said "Ha!" waving the blueprints in the air. She blasted out of the room. "Get back here!!!" yelled Sonic. Tails and Sonic ran after Amy. She went into the bathroom, and locked the door. She climbed out of the window. While Sonic and Tails were trying to beat open the door, Amy came in through the front door and waved the blueprints again while calling out "Na, na, na, na, na!" Sonic growled. "The only way your getting these back is if you go out with me." said Amy. "So this, this is what I get for saving your butt from Zero?" growled Sonic. Tails stepped back. At that moment, Amy started to feel really guilty. She started to think of what she did, and how jerk-ish it was to steal the blueprints and cause all this hullaballoo. But then, trying to resist looking guilty, she blurted out, "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! I NEVER WOULD HAVE DONE THIS IS YOU HADN'T RUDELY UMM.... NOT GO OUT WITH ME!" Sonic then replied, "MY FAULT? YOU THINK THIS IS MY FAULT? I NEVER WOULD HAVE SAID NO, IF YOU DIDN'T ASK." the argument went on. "I WOULDN'T HAVE ASKED, IF YOU HAD SAID YES THE LAST TIME!" yelled Amy. Then Tails jumped out. "LOOK AT YOURSELVES!" Sonic and Amy stopped for a second. "You two used to be great freinds. Amy, hand over the blueprints." said Tails. Amy slowly handed over the blueprints. "As for you, Sonic," said Tails. Sonic gasped. "Would it hurt to take Amy out, just one time!?" Tails continued. Amy smiled, but then frowned. "Tails is right, we both used to be great freinds. So, Sonic, I guess..." A tear dropped from Amy's face. "...If you don't want to go out with me..." Tails and Sonic gasped. "...You don't have too." Amy started to cry. "I know this is hard for you." said Sonic. Tails slapped him in the face. "If only there was a way I could make you feel better..." Amy looked up. "Will you go out with me?" Amy whined. "Anything but that!" Tails slapped him again. "OK, I guess." Sonic said. Amy looked up and her tears were gone. She hugged him so tightly that Sonic couldn't breathe.

So, the next night, Sonic went out with Amy. And, it was the worst night of his life. They went to the beach!

Chapter 7: The Battle

The next morning, Sonic woke up. He looked at his calender. "Two weeks already?" he asked himself. He jumped out of bed, and headed towards the HQ garage. Tails was tweaking up the robot with a wrench. His clothes were as greasy as they had ever been. Sonic smiled. "Are you finished??? We fight in one hour." said Sonic excitedly. "All done!" said Tails with a smile. "All I have to do, is teach you the controls and we'll be ready to battle!" he continued. "Alright!" said Sonic. Sonic opened up a door that leads inside the robot. Sonic pushed through all the wires to find a ladder leading to the robot's head, the control room. There was a microphone that altered his voice to sound scary, two buttons that launched shoulder missiles, arrow buttons to move, and although this may seem tough, to Sonic it was super simple. There were more crazy buttons to push on the robot, too. The robot started to walk. Sonic could see the Egg Carrier flying through the air with the robot's built-in telescope. The robot moved faster than most robots, almost at Sonic's speed. The robot followed the Egg Carrier to the beach. Sonic got scared. Through a communicator, Tails advised him to push the Water, or fly button when needed. The Egg Carrier landed, then turned into the most scary, evil robot they had ever seen. The Death Egg II. It converted into a plane, then flew off. "Hahahaha!" yelled Robotnik. "He'll never get me here!" he continued as he launched missiles at Sonic. Sonic pushed the fly button, then started chasing Robotnik. "Ahh!" shreiked Robotnik. He flew away. Sonic was still launching missiles at him. Then, Robotnik's robot converted to a submarine. He went in the water. "Sonic wouldn't dare to attack me here!" yelled Robotnik. "You can do it Sonic!" said Tails. Sonic bravely pushed the water button. Sonic's robot became a submarine and chased Robotnik. "That's it!" yelled Robotnik. Him and Sonic turned back into normal robots and climbed out of the water. "Forfit?" asked Sonic through the microphone. "YES! None of my plans worked!" Sonic smiled. Dr. Robotnik left. Sonic did, too. At the HQ, Amy was all over Sonic trying to kiss him, hug him, and tell him how brave he was. Tails was aggravated at this, granted he built the robot with all the abilities Sonic needed to defeat Dr. Robotnik. "Cool it," he said to himself as he left into his room.

Chapter 8: The End

After that, things went great for the Sonic team. Amy wasn't as desperate for Sonic's love, too. But she still was desperate. Just not AS desperate. She killed Sonic's girlfreind Sally. Dr. Robotnik had been defeated. Until the next day... The Sonic Team was attacked by Master Snivley the Great!
