well, these mice sure don't know. 😛

the following links are a university project that i've been finishing off over the summer. (missed my deadlines by miiiiles due to illness. >>; go me!)

the brief was to write and draw a children's story of around 20 pages.
i'd been editing a ton of people's avatars into green mice (don't ask) on another forum i go to, so wanted to put my newly-found mice drawing skills into practise.

to state some answers others have asked elsewhere, this isn't a comic, nor ever to be one. it's not going to be published and may never appear in colour. Tom Cat isn't exactly evil, just a very sneeky cat. :p

anyway, enough blather and to the story!

pages one and two
pages three and four
pages five and six
pages seven and eight
pages nine and ten
pages eleven and twelve
pages thirteen and fourteen
pages fifteen and sixteen!

I want to eat the insolent mice :( Your lovely drawing skills have the power to feed me painful mental images of a mouse-run society where I would be constantly bent over and bound in chains.

Lack of angst. :( All stories need angst.
/sarcasm
Cute story and art.

an alternative ending of the mice eating the cat was suggested, but i figured that was a little TOO odd. 😛

thanks, i'm glad you all liked it. ^^ i got to show the glued-together book version of this to one of the kids i babysit for (she's around the target age) and she liked it too. so, success!

I likes it. There's a lot to be said for simple things. Out of interest, what aged kids is it aimed at?

about 8 years and younger. ^^; mostly as that's the general age group i babysit for. i found it easier to visulise what would appeal to them when i could think of kids i actually know.

another forum is trying to convince me to get this printed properly so i could sell them. but..i'm a bit worried about printing and shipping costs, as i don't know anywhere aobut here that'd do it for me.

I've been following that story on DevArt. You should submit that for publication o.o

it's not long or finished enough to be published, and i've no free time to work any more on it.

but i'd love the cash. >>;
