The rules to this game are simple:

1. Guess who's controlling the anonymous account now.

2.Whoever's in the account must deny wrong guesses.

3. Anon must PM whoever got it correct so as not to reveal the identity of the last Anon.

4. When the new Anon enters the account they must change the password so the old Anon can't access it.

5. The Former Anon can't guess since they gave the New Anon the account in the first place!

6. The New Anon must announce that they are new and seperate from the last Anon. But only after a few more people geuss so that people won't be able to geuss who you are due to the old Anon not denying your guess.

7. If the old Anon so chooses they can reveal their identity... but only after New Anon`s first post. Disregard this... I just realized how detrimental to the New Anon`s secret identity that would be. DON'T REVEAL YOUR IDENTITY.

8. Anon can reveal themselves early and PM the password to someone who has participated in the past if you so choose.

Simple, right? (Sort of...)

I'd just like to leave one guideline:
If it goes on too long, I'd advise giving some sort of hint...

So yeah... let the guessing begin!

Hopefully my posting style will give you guiz a hint...

Whoever's in the account must deny wrong guesses.

Wouldn't that reveal who they are by who they did not deny? ... SONICV2!

I also propose that you PM whoever was anonymous before you to the winner, who then posts it when they are guessed.

Anon A is guessed by person who becomes Anon B.
Anon B is guessed by person who becomes Anon C and sends the identity of Anon A to Anon C.
Anon C is guessed by person who becomes Anon D, posts identity of Anon A to public, and sends the identity of Anon B to Anon D.

Hmm, that would be a reveal too. If anybody knows who any Anon is, they could use that to look up who guessed that person, and learn the whole list.

Perhaps the Anons could keep a log of every Anon before them, and only by winning and becoming an Anon can you learn who was correct previously.

Yeah, I realized that so I made an amendment to rule#6 that says the new Anon can only post after a few more people have guessed the identity of the old Anon. ...And you're wrong, Vector!

I likeh the log idea. I'll do that, then.

Now I know Rishi goes to rule34. XD

Wouldn't that reveal who they are by who they did not deny?

And in the first round we prove that this game is fundamentally flawed, as it is now painfully obvious who got it right. >>

I like the idea of this game, but it's not gonna work with the current rules. Can we just... not deny guesses? *sigh* I dunno.

A good way to throw off identity would be to just throw the password into the masses of forumers and whoever gets it first gets the account...

... I based this off of something GT did at Eliteboard that lasted a long time.

I haven't gotten around to asking him yet and I'm not even sure if he remembers the rules...

Here's the link to the Eliteboard version of the game, just for reference:

http://www.sonic-hq.net/eliteboard/viewpost.php?t=1468

From a quick look-through, looks like whoever was Forumer X did just post the password out in public for whoever next wanted to use the account.

I'm wondering, though, if it'd work better for people who are interested in being the new Anon to send a PM to the current holder of the account, and then one of them gets sent the password (I'm guessing probably first-come-first-serve, unless some other way of choosing works better). This way there'd be less chance for the account to get lost due to random people picking it up, since technically anyone who sees the site would be able to use the account if the password were posted publicly (which, unlike Eliteboard accounts, could be used to post anywhere in the Yuku network if it fell into the wrong hands - hopefully something that wouldn't happen, but wanted to mention that, just in case).

Hope this helps^^

Good idea, Ari.
