It seems once again yuku is once again experiencing caching issues (posts don't appear etc). So please....

A cache is made up of a pool of entries. Each entry has a datum (a
nugget of data) - a copy of the same datum in some backing store. Each
entry also has a tag, which specifies the identity of the datum in the
backing store of which the entry is a copy.
So what I gather is that it's pretty much stored memory of the site (or in this case the MoFo). When a "pool" is damaged then certain aspects of the site are affected. Like slow downs, lost of posts or when the site is down.
So, here's my question: does that mean that a post I just made, but that doesn't seem to "stick" or stay where it was when I check on the same thread right afterward, is deleted/lost/eaten, or does it mean that it will only appear and stay there after an indeterminate amount of time?
They aren't eaten at all. Do you see it now?
Yeah, so far so good. It's just been happening a lot more recently to me, so I just wanted to double-check on that specific question.

This appears to still be going on. I just made a post in this topic after Tigger's post, and it's only showing up intermittently. Sometimes I go in there and it doesn't appear, no matter how often I hit refresh, then a moment later it pops up again as if it has been there all along.
EDIT: And now I go to edit this post here, and it comes up with an error 'This page doesn't exist'. I have to back out and click edit again to make it work 
Looks like the board announcement needs to be changed again cuz the caching issues are back! I'll tell you what this is becoming to Yuku what the service announcements where to EZHack! *sigh* 
Yeah, it seems to be back with a vengeance. At least for me it seems a lot worse than before.

Seems like you can force the caching issue to stop by signing off and logging in again. Doesn't last for long, though.

It lurks, hungry for the next morsal of posts - waiting patiently until we all settle back down and give back the trust in the system...BEFORE it suddenly strikes again, eating posts and scaring small children with it's ability to screw everyone over in the blink of an eye.
