Tergonaut decided to lock my topic at random, deeming it flamebait.
This one.
If I'm not mistaken, not only did I preceed the image with a bunch of words just so I wasn't jumping in and posting an image, but I explained that R himself wanted someone to post the image.
Also, I posted it in the SPA. The place for spam. Exactly how was that picture at all inappropriate for the SPA?
I didn't even draw the picture. I'll say again that R
told B** (or so B** tells me) that h* wanted someone to post the image in the South Island Forum, but whoever did it would most certainly be banned, and that I should do it just because I'm apparently closest to being banned according to h** for some reason, by which I then said, "Perhaps h* fears my awesomeness".
I took the image, put a censor on it, and put it up in the SPA because I assumed that, though it would completely be inappropriate for the South Island Forum, surely the place dedicated entirely to spam would be the best place for a picture that contained no curse words or nudity.

Er......if you heard someone say that it might be a bannable picture, then why in the world would you post the picture anyways?

Censoring it does not make it any less of a stupid thing for you to have done. And yes, it is flamebait because you knew it could cause a potential problem, even when your friends/associates told you, yet you posted it anyway. And since you're known for goading people - mainly the mods - on by trying to break the rules and jack off while doing so, it is no surprise that your post was construed as flamebait by said mod and locked before you could fully pull your pants down.

So, yes, it was deserved.

Cookirini, you're being uncool and not using any logic whatsoever or actually reading my various sentences and paragraphs.
Also, it was bannable because it had a curse word and was going to be in the South Island Forum. However, I put it in the spam forum, and it had no curse words, therefore it was not a bannable offense.
So no, it wasn't deserved.
I never said "Hey, losers, look at this! What do you think of THAT?" It's just a picture. There was no instigation whatsoever. I made it perfectly clear twice now why it would have been bannable, and what I did to make it not bannable. I didn't say that it's bannable and I did it anyway, I said that it would have been bannable, had I not censored it and relocated it to a non-serious forum section.

I'm asuming it was locked because you spoke extensively of your warning level as a motive to make the topic.

What? That wasn't the motive. I thought the picture was funny. R said I should do it- and not directly to me, B** claims that's what he said- just because I was somehow closest to being banned, I didn't say that's why I did it.

Perhaps it looked that way, or perhaps that is not the reason at all. :D

Or perhaps nobody around can grow up and be adults and we live in a world where people who are beaten and molested get inferiority complexes and have to feel big by picking on people and their lackeys will come in and agree with them in an instant without taking a second thought or going through any thought processes.

And that's a DEFINITE warning for the pity party about the motives of the staff. Nobody said anything to prompt that little burst of bile, or was even being other than civil with you.

For someone telling people to "grow up and be adults", you're not exactly the bastion of maturity and shining example. If you don't want to get smacked down, don't provoke it by baiting people. It's a simple concept.

The staff don't like doing this stuff, y'know. We aren't on power trips.

My ideal day would be one where I can just kick back and post without having to put my Admin hat on once, because that means no drama for anyone. We don't like that any more than anyone else, you included. Honestly.

But if you act like a crybaby kid at the first sign of not getting your own way, people'll treat you like one. If you don't like something, be the bigger man and deal with it.

I'd say that the topic was borderline because I can't guess your motives - but looking at that, I'm feeling a lot less sympathetic or inclined to believe you.

Oh gee, I guess that explains EVERYTHING about me and why your topic was locked and has nothing to do with the fact that you even said that the picture was possibly a cause for a ban, yet you still posted a version it it..

Hey, stop molesting me Acrio! Otherwise I'll keep picking on Preggas! >:(

I have no idea why it was locked, as it doesn't appear to have anything flamebait-related, but you're flaming here and that's a bigger deal.

Also, Cooki, that pants description is... pretty close to flamebait if not other things.

EDIT: Posted quite a few posts ago.

Like I said: I wasn't sure on it, either, and was actually willing to talk to Terg on maybe giving him a bye on it - but he just talked himself into a warning anyway.

I'll refrain from remarks about "What a lovely pair!" (PG where I come from!) on the grounds that this isn't the spam forum. Really. I will.

Take it to the SPA if you want to play, guys. We've got enough threads wandering off-topic around here, 'kay? 🙂

EDIT: Then stop baiting the Mods with that talk and walk away, Schnipp - Acrio was doing you a favour there by trying to turn things into a joke, and I'd have quit whilst you were ahead.

Okay! But, man, if you're going to type 'kay, why not just skip the apostrophe and go straight to the O?
I'm just kidding. Don't hit me!

Oh for the love of god. I found that while watching the channer kiddies screeching about the fox news/g4 stuff. Showed it to Box (EDIT: Sorry guess it was Boston that showed it too him.) with the caption "Someone should post that in the sega forum."

This is just an example of jumping off a bridge when told too.

Hey, man. I liked it irrelevant of what B***** said y** said.
Also, I jumped off the bridge because B***** told me to.

I considered it flamebait due to 1) naming Rico and Boston specifically and virtually blaming them for your actions, 2) because you posted a huge rant about how SEGA sucks and Nintendo rocks without allowing for proper discussion, and 3) because you yourself claimed to do this on the basis of "it doesn't matter if I get in trouble anyway."

And if you're wondering why I omitted the asterisks from Rico's and Boston's names, I present this evidence, taken from the Ziggledex:

Pregga Zexas (1:54 am): boston told me that rico wanted me to post that image in the south island forum because i was closest to being banned anyway

This confirms #1 and #3, while your actual text that you attached to the post confirms #2. An opinion is an opinion, but posting inflammatory remarks in any forum is not permitted - the SPA is not exempt from the rules on flamebaiting.

Oh, of course. I was using Rico and Boston as an excuse for my sinful actions that were never actually ever sinful in the first place.
Wow, Tergonaut. As always, you're using reason and logic, you're totally right, you're not purposely misinterpreting anything, you're not abusing your powers, you're being completely fair and you've got it all figured out.
*cough*

Schnipp, I know that you're not stupid, so I'm being serious when I ask: are you actually capable of talking to someone you apparently don't like without being sarcastic and insulting?

The 'net's just like the real world - you occasionally meet people you don't get on with. But getting snitty about it's going to get you slapped down off the 'net just as fast as on it.

I don't care what you think that Terg has or hasn't done - keep your little personal vendetta to yourself.

EDIT: And for editing in yet more unsubstantiated crap about Terg's motives, you get another warning.

I don't like doing this - but you've been asked to cool down and let the staff sort it out now that you've made your point. If you can't do that and have to keep pushing, then that's nobody else's reponsibility.

Uh, actually guys thats almost VERBATIM what I said to Boston. However only an idiot was go, "Oh, that must mean I should do it! Since I'm the closest to getting banned. So if I do it I won't get banned."
