I-is it gone? ; _ ;
I clicked the link... and nothing came up! Just a "The Page Cannot Be Found Message".
Did you guys decide to take it down since noone but the RPing group and a few people (myself included) go there?
Looks like things are still getting sorted out due to the server getting upgraded. http://sonichqcommunity.yuku.com/topic/6822 (the "Server Downtime" topic) has more details about what's been going on.
It was only supposed to be down for an hour. It's been over 24.
So no telling how long, unfortunately.
i've been so board i made a new site, but well, never really went on the chat much sence no one was like in there.....
As Ari said, server's still getting sorted out. I've not seen TR around in a bit so I can only assume she's up to her ears in work or something.
In the meanwhile if folks are still missing the FlashChat, you're welcome to stop by my place and hang out if you're bored. It's a lot like the FlashChat in many ways, except that it doesn't use Flash and there are a few other differences, but I daresay most folks'll feel right at home. =P
And there's IRC as well of course, although I know not everyone likes it or can use it - I myself am in that latter category.
You just wanna filter more commonly used words for furry slang for giggles.

Speaking of your chat, SS. Craig and I tried it once, but every five minutes or so, it kept either timing out or just lagging like nobody's business to the point where all I could do was X out and log in again. I don't think he had the issue, it might have been just me, but I was just wondering if anybody else commented on ridiculous lag. This was also a week or so ago, and we haven't exactly used it since.
But if the massive lag is cleared up or if it was just my computer being stupid, I'd love to hang out there again 😀
...no, I don't really know what the point of this post was o.o

The massive lag with SS's chat seems to be a very odd problem, that comes and goes depending on who you are, where you are, and what phase of the moon it is.
Some days it will run faster than Speedy Gonazles looking for the crapper after a vat of vindaloo, sometimes it will just clog up like said crapper.
XD Love the simile, Daahkvulfie. And thanks! At least I know it's not just me, and now we can rely on chance and actually be able to talk in the mornings. **HUG**

My chat does lag on occasion. And it will usually ALWAYS lag for a while upon entry - I'd speculate this is because it has to get a connection going between client and server, or more accurately between application and database.
Once it accomplishes that though, it's usually a fairly smooth ride, although I've been told that it occasionally will time out for no immediately obvious reason. I've not had that happen to me personally, so I'd figure it has to do with peoples' individual connections, and there's little I can do to resolve that =P

Curses! How did you manage to see through my evil scheme?!
Looks like FlashChat is back up now, so I guess TR got the server stuff sorted out^^
And I want to thank whoever took care of it, whether it's TR or otherwise. **hugs uber tightly!**

Now if only someone other that RPer's ~used it~
It stopped working, TTG. I can't log into it. IE was working for a while but not anymore.
FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT.

There seems to be a problem that some users are having where browsers can't connect to FlashChat (for me it's both Firefox and IE, though I've heard that some people can still connect via IE). Based on a thread in the RP board, it sounds like you can still connect to FlashChat via downloading/using a chat client of some sort; other than that, I guess we'll just have to wait until whatever it is gets cleared up. Dunno what's involved in fixing it, but thanks and good luck to anyone who's working on it!^^
Oh, good. I thought it was just me. I've been trying to log in for the past week and it just wouldn't completly load.
Hope it's fixed soon. ^^
Sorry about both the bump and for not posting this earlier, but in case anyone is still having problems logging into FlashChat, looks like having up-to-date Flash enables FlashChat to work in IE at least. (That's what worked for me, anyway, so hopefully that helps.)
I don't have Firefox on this comp, so I dunno whether or not that browser works yet (since it hadn't been working for me back when I was using a comp that had it).
