I went to Bat and told him it was overboard today, even for a joke, and he should stop. I would have waited until he did it again to ban, but I don't see any argument against what Terg did.

Harassment = something has to have been going on for longer than one chat room instance or else it wouldn't have been mentioned (unless it was something totally over the top the first time)
Bigotry = most of the time it does not have a specific target becuase if there is a specific target it's usually considered a flame or insult instead
Logical connection between Holocaust/emo kids = it was made blatantly obvious, but if you need it... it's not good to advocate for the murder of any group of people for any reason whether it's someone's ethnicity, looks, religion, lifestyle, etc. ... it's just dumb and it doesn't matter that it was posted in the SPA as a "joke" ... it's completely tasteless and doesn't belong on this board.

I don't go into the chat, but I'm under the impression that the harassment stems from the chat--not the board.
Consider the board topic a board warning. A board ban was suggested but I said chat is enough unless you do it again. Chat warnings can count to a board ban so Terg was presenting the whole case. Anyway, chat bans are usually 5 days, though it might be longer in this case.

You are trying to say that actions define bigotry. That is totally incorrect. Your words are all that are required to define bigotry. There are plenty of bigots in the world that have never killed, attacked, nor will ever attempt to do any of that stuff.
The Holocaust is one of many examples of what can happen due to bigotry and is an extremely recognizable one. It is not the standard for bigotry however, which I think you do understand but are acting as if you don't only in a silly attempt to do what matt hayter has tried to do when debating me and that's not something worth my time.

No, it wasn't. Bigotry = bigotry. Shadow Hog could've used the mistreatment of people due to their skin color OR sexual orientation if he wanted to instead and it would've been the same. The only difference is that those, unlike the Holocaust, aren't related to Godwin's Law, which is obviously what he wanted to mention.

It was by me in a sarcastic fashion implying that the British are silly (which is obviously a joke considering I'm british as well) and the arsiness comment was directed to the forum as a whole.
