The current server has more than enough spec and capacity to host multiple sites. It's just that MMHQ has gone undeveloped because people have not greatly cared for it over time. Also time and effort has been placed into eb and some shq site updates.

The amount of "ram, and etc." your system has has nothing to do with whether you can run Mega Man HQ. Why exactly do you think you'd be good at updating the site?

It's not about me, it's about the site. I think it would be good for the site to add new features, possibly add a fan made games section, updated news, possible changes in the gui, and more to come after planing. But, before I start planing for the redevelopment of the site, we all have to come to an agreement that all of us are happy with.

A new anything right now would be in the site's favor, but a revival would have to come after the transfer to the new server. I believe no new staff are joining and no new projects are being initiated right now.

Is there a time estimate of when transfer to the new server will be completed?

MMHQ will eventually be up. It's been in that state since I first saw it years ago. I'll finally get to see the site. =p

Nah, it won't be completely down. It just needs to be re-uploaded and then the database info needs to be changed.

MMHQ will go up when there are people to really work on it. Last I checked, there were only 2 and the main person is busying coding a message board (though that is nearly finished for now) for SHQ/MMHQ among other things.

The "archive" subdomain is for the current version of the site, not the upcoming one.

And same goes for MMHQ? So MMHQ and SHQ Will be redesigned?

I believe Vec is also going to work on MMHQ. I can only definitely speak for SHQ at this point.
