Hey all. Maybe I've been in a cave these past few weeks, but I've just heard roumours that the Mobius Forum may be moving. Could anyone enlighten me on if these roumours are true?
All I'm wondering is as follows. I've had a quick glance at Elite (Where it's supposed to be moving to) and I was wondering:
1) will there be seperate forums like here? ie: Mearble Garden, South Island Forum, RP Guild, etc. I can't seem to see any over there atm...
2) What will happen to all our posts here? Will they be moved, or simply scrapped? (I have a few RPs I'm a member of, and it'd be a shame to lose them)
3) Will my account be transfered over too, or will I have to create another? It doesn't seem to be accepting my account atm...

No, it was not a move. It was a hack, a particuarly evil one that affected thousands of Forums.
Harley, when exactly did he mention the hacking/missing posts? He's talkin' apples and you're talkin' oranges.
He asked if it was a move, and I told him it wasn't.
He never asked if we were moving NOW. He just asked if we were moving, and if you've been paying any attention the past few years, yes, we ARE moving. Just not now.
So no matter which way you slice it, your remark was off-topic.
Actually I have a question with regard to this move. I've checked out the other site and created an account, but I wanted to ask:
Am I the only one having problems with it?
Let me explain,
For starters, I can never tell if I'm logged in or not. My name rarely appears on the active user list, and when it does all the topics on the page are different to when it doesn't! It's as though I'm looking at a completely different page.
Secondly, all the posts I make seem to dissapear into thin air a few seconds after I make them. I post, then go look at the topic and they aren't there! There is only one post that I have made that I have been able to track down, but this only appears once in a blue moon, and it appears outside the thread I posted it in in a seperate option (ie: the little arrows next to the "Last post by..." section.)
I've tried posting on there asking for help, but I don't know if my posts have actually registered, since I can't find them! Does anyone have any sugestions as to my problem pls...? I don't want to be left out of the move and loose the MoFo

As was said MANY times this is not something that will happening now. It's been in the works for some time and is still (in the works).

rofl Rico I understand and accept that, but I'm putting these problems forward early so people can be working on them. Some computer problems take a long time to fix, so I figured the sooner the problems were highlighted, the longer people would have to examine them and sort them out.
I'm just putting the problems forward so people can look at them and investigate. When the time comes for us to move I'm sure everything will be sorted and work great
