avas are back with the removal of "share thread" nonsense. also it wasted my time having to uncheck all the forum share button for all my forums in creoland >=/ and now users that don't have ez supporter are forced to use 20 posts per page >=

This is to hopefully reduce the number of 502 bad gateway errors reported on some boards and make sure that the ads are displayed in the correct places.

That's why I asked. It's supposed to be because of things like this that we were supposed to move from EZBreak to Eliteboard, but I'm beginning to believe we are never going to move and I know I'm not the only one.
Still, I know Vec and the other admins are very busy individuals, and that's why I can stand the wait but at the cost of my greetings to the newbies.
Well, Eliteboard was and still is quite a mess after Acrio screwed around with it (if I'm not entirely accurate on this, then correct me). I think it'll be a very long time before it gets back to what it once was before, ya know?

No, it wasn't that much. It just doesn't look pretty. Someone just needs to make the themes/layouts (re: skins) and it would be almost as fine as it was back in December. It should only be missing the PM system I think.

The email system? Doubtful.
I'm sure the email system is automated. Some email accounts reject emails coming from certain places. I've had that problem from a board on another site using my Gmail account that uses Invision board software.
Automated email (usually generated by cgi or php--probably php in this case) is not automatic (then again, neither is "direct" email). It works 99% of the time, but the 1% of the time it doesn't can be annoying.

Indeed. I've had mine set to 40 per page since I started using EzBoard back in 2002. I am most displeased.
I always had mine set to 100. DAMN YOU SLEZY!
Most of what made EB look so good was jsut images that looked good together. It's just noticable because there's no substitute. PM is gone, but.
But I don't really hold hope for EB. As for Sleazyboard, what's next?
Wow, mine was set to the default of 20, but they apparently changed it to 25 - I just realized that as I was looking through old familiar threads and seeing that many of the posts aren't in the same positions that they were in just a few days ago.
And also, another thing, but I'm not quite so sure of it - editting old posts. I don't think they can bump topics that way, now.

There's really nothing to figure out. EZboard made a couple of minor, annoying changes that you probably don't care about anyway.
Then again, it's easy for me to call them minor when I've always had my posts-per-page set to 20.
