One time back before you could only see ads when you logged out, I got one of those ads here that say you have a virus problem and actually created a pop up window that I had to click away (at least it wasn't one of those where if you try to get rid of it it crashes the entire browser, but it looked exactly like one of those) along with the original ad in the block of course.

Just now I tried to view my Mecha Sonic thread at South Island. Without warning it redirected to this site called ShasHits.com.
Everytime I hit the back key just redirected back to ShasHits.com again.

Sooo...I am the only one having these kinds of problems, aren't I.
Not really; prior to me blocking it with Adblock Plus, one of the banner ads actually pulled up 18 pop-ups and redirected the entire thread to another site entirely. Fortunately, Adblock has prevented that kind of crap from happening again, but I do kind of worry for the percentage of our users using Internet Explorer (however small that actually is)...
And if you don't mind, I think this is a better EVC thread than a SPA thread, considering it's a rather real issue.

If anyone can't use/ doesn't want to use AdBlock, I'd suggest getting one of those Host files that blocks everything outright. I used a single host entry to block adds off of WLM but then I found this massive host file to start using and I actually haven't used adblock at all since I got it.
So yeah look that up if you need an alternative, I'm pretty sure all OS's use host files too.

Well, I'm at a library, and you can't download anything, so you're forced to use Internet Explorer,and I've been getting the same things GT mentioned.
Taking into the account the years of membership i've had on the mofo, as well as the current economic credit crunch and the share price of sega/sammy, i have donated what i feel the mobius forum happens to be worth 😛

Bad news I'm afraid on my front. I had to be taken to an urgent care center this morning. Long story short two of the muscles in my back squished a nerve running between my spine and right arm. It's taken 3 different kinds of pain killers and a camphor patch for me to even type this. I dunno how much my insurance will pay for so I'll have to wait for that bill to arrive untill I know what I can put in.

Hehe, I have free healthcare, I'm part injun. But the last time I used it for something semi-important it took 3 outpatient surgeries before they did it right.
