Does anyone else here think that the comic section of Sonic HQ is in serious need of some updates? I would love to see an in-depth review of a Sonic issue from someone other then Dan Drazen. (no offence to him) I would also love to see scans from more recent issues and new info added on "Sonic Encyclopedia" thing. Is this too much to ask?
dunno, you can talk with true red if you want to help out with updates.
I can understand having the more reviews, as that gives more of a broader opinion, but it's really only Drazen who puts in the time and effort to make all these reviews.
Maybe someone can start anew thanks to the archives which have been recently released?
I have all the issues and specials. Maybe I'll review them all sooner or later. We'll see.

I'm sure plenty would including someone who recently emailed me cover scans (that I already have) to be helpful (which I thought was so cute actually b/c usually people just complain without doing anything--I love initiative takers). I'm not concerned with that desire because the site is moving.

Then someone is going to have to devote the time to doing it. I'm not doing it anymore. I don't care about the comic series enough to review the comics like I did for awhile.

The site is already moving. Creating more work in terms of moving isn't going to happen on my end. So, no, there won't be any updates of that sort (at least on my end) until the site is moved. I'm only touching database oriented stuff (minus uploading images): news page, q&a page, comics archive, and profiles in the encyclopedia.

It's actually updated a little from time to time. No massive updates, which I don't think is a good idea until the "status quo" is set, are done though. Small updates will never be announced. Other than that, people have things to do and I've never been one to go crazy about whether people are updating. This stuff is done for free and this is no one's job. I'm not adding anyone to help those who are already on staff at present time. The earliest I'm thinking about "new staff" is when I know the site is situated at its new home.
I do agree that Sonic HQ needs some updates and corrections. In particular, there's a scan of issue #23 that's been mislabeled as being from issue #18.
Can you be more specific? Corrections can't happen without specifics.
