What Kenny has done with Sally is typical. They were going to kill her off in Endgame if there was not so many Sally fans. So Killing her is a no. So what does Kenny and Karl do?

See? He's just stripping Sal of her status until Sonic's willing to sacrifice his adventures to be her consort or king. But he didn't truly resolve any of the current obstacles associated with that. How would ditching his heroic nature be in charachter. Especially when issue 54 indicated he isn't going to be over adventures when Robotnik's gone. Or the fact that in 134, when the series developed Sonic's preference: Sal or adventures, he clearly chose being a hero. How would Ken go about that without making the charachters OOC?
Also, even if he could come up with something it'd take a looong time. Considering that this is an action oriented comic, Sonic is never truly going to comprimise his adventures in the present storyline. So, Sal must remain useless, and contributing something to the team that is obsolete (her leadership skills) because of that for the rest of the series?
And if Ken's obviously made Sal next in line, why is freedom fighting even an issue? She's in the same position for the throne as she was when Max ruled: Next in line. So she is the people's future, and she's being allowed to risk her life, and the government of the future along with it? She's allowing herself even after what her parents told her during the home story arc? Well... Sal hasn't gone on any missions yet but it'd be incredibly OOC and denying continuity.

There were two stories in this issue and contrary to popular belief, there is a lot more that happened within the issue than Sonic/Sally/Fiona/Tails/Evil Ant. Get off it. ;p

We've already got a link to Pender's message board on this page. It's cool that you figured out that the wedding was foreshadowed in Ultimatum and all, but it's not a new revelation. Many other people have made that connection and I don't see them dragging links out to prove it. Just give yourself a quick pat on the back and find something else to discuss. *searches for a topic idea* How about the fact they were married by a lady justice of the peace? I've been to a couple weddings in my life but never once saw a girl perform the ceremony. I think that's a neat idea and wonder how common a practice it is in the real world.

Also, HyperShadow. We do not need to make this comic worse by adding more of a SEGA style. All the SEGA characters (the characters who first appeared in SEGA) are getting the attention they deserve in the comic.
Metal Sonic and Shadow are the ones that are used well in the comic. Theres a topic about this.

Someone mentioned we need another world tour, in of itself I did not mind the world tour story line. It was a nice chance of pace and I understood that Sonic had to go back home sometime. The stories could have been better though. Now I wouldn't mind if Sonic went on another world tour or something like that if the purpose was developing Sonic's character. Sonic needs to grow, mature, and make some changes in his life. Unfortantely, I don't think Sega and Archie will let him, he will probably always be mentally and chronologicaly sixteen, which is a shame.
Another world tour would be nice. However it would have to include the original Freedom Fighters: Sonic, Sally, Ant, Bunnie, Tails, Rotor and Dulcy.
Before any of that, something's gotta be done about Knuckles. He's been TOTALLY ABANDONED since RtAI...
He needs to be doing SOMETHING....

What's interesting about a World Tour is that it gets Sonic away from his love life. It would get him away from Mina, Fiona, Sally, Bunnie, and whomever else is in Knothole. Meanwhile, Sonic, Tails, and maybe even Knuckles could establish a better friendship, while they go on TRUE ADVENTURES.

EE, i just think that if Sonic, Tails and Knuckles go on adventures, it sounds like a Sonic Heroes. And then it would be wide open to do a apdation of the game. And since MS appears in it, it sounds good. Also, the other thing was a biased joke.

Just so you guys know, i'm the one who brought up the world tour. Also, i do like the idea of Sonic,Tails,and knuckles building a better friendship from it. it would as someone else said make them more mature.
But the idea of all the freedom fighters going on it would just be stupid. The whole point of it is for sonic to be himself. Hell, maybe he doesn't need knuckles or tails for this.

Re-read Sonic #53 with Sonic & Knuckles burying the hatchet. Sonic and Knuckles have been friends in Archie for over 100 issues now. Just like in the video games, only that in Archie Knuckles doesn't assume Sonic is doing something "bad" all the time. Just because they don't see eye-to-eye all the time, doesn't mean they aren't friends.

If I recall, one of the released teasers for an upcoming issue mentions that Knuckles will be helping in the fight against the invading army--which is the next storyline. So, he's probably right.

That's good... I stopped reading spoilers after #150, so at least there's SOME surprise left to these rather predictable plots.
To go deep into Dulcy's story for a second, (Which I can tell I'm going to regret doing,) Dulcy said in #50 (Or the Super Special, take thy pick) that Dragons cannot lie and can thus sense the purity of truth. When Sparky said to the elder dragon guy that Dulcy had saved him, the elder didn't believe him.
Hooray for continuity errors. This whole story came about as the result of a continuity error, and instead of resolving it, created several more. (Like I said last issue... Page 14 of Battle Royal negates this ENTIRE STORY.)
It's as Dirk said in his review of Sonic #155, the Dulcy story seems to really be the result of attempting to "fix" the "error" of Dulcy being miscolored on the cover of an issue. ;p
Let's just hope they ignore that Knuckles was miscolored on a cover once, or at least don't decide that it needs fixing with a story. ;p

But Elias only gained that backbone because someone really went out of their way to convince him. More importantly someone he trusts a lot more than Sonic at this point. It actually IMO, brings back the idea Elias is a bit weak as a charachter. He didn't at all consider how his attempt to be a leader went down the drain because he was too weak willed to speak up for Sonic OR Sally until it was too late and the problems magnified in the 90s. So Elias is just doing what he usually does and follows the advice of others. That doesn't mean it'd be very in charachter for him to last very long. Especially since the wife who convinced him to rule is a commoner and not nearly as adapted to governing a nation in comparison to Sally... who Ken says is next in line still.

But cant Archie ever (or lately) have a sort of 'Checkpoint' issue where they solve some questions ( Look at 156) without raising new ones? ( Look at 156).
I think Elias would do good as a King, or at least he'll do better than Max. But Elias and Sonic have the fairy equal complaints, but Elias is fair hearted, rarely angrey or `stuck up`. He wont last on the long term but i think he'll do well for a while.
what part of "due to my health i'm stepping down" didn't you get?
a king can't just take back his throne if he had already given it to his offspring. (in some weird cases yes, but most of the time no.)

Question, why did they show a story of Dulcy getting her flame back where she has not appeared in, at least a year?
I made the first ones (LianneKa Echidna & LianneKa) due to the fact that the name I wanted (that being "True Red") was already taken back in 2000. Eventually I made the "Rad Blue" account for RPing purposes on this message board in 2001--and I was using it just now since I was RPing. So, I tend to log into that account when I'm participating in a RP. Only because I got sick of people calling me "Lianne" instead of "True Red" I then decided to make a local account for it to basically drive home the point a couple of years ago. The account I'm logged in usually has a purpose. When I'm only dealing with this ezboard, I'm in my "True Red" account. When I'm RPing, I'm on my "Rad Blue" account. When I'm dealing with more than one ezboard (as I'm currently monitoring ezboard's support forums just to see what's going on), I'm logged in on this global account. When I'm using a public computer, I'm logged in under "LianneKa."
And yes, I do tend to keep my sigs rather similar so that I'm relatively recognizable for those who haven't been here for a long time and basically know who I am no matter what account I have.
You can consider it "sneaky" if you choose, but point blank, very few long time members only have one account--and we don't care as long as you don't pretend to be someone else.
