It's not a big one, to be honest, but it means a lot to me.. See, after reading the preview for Sonic #172, I've gotten to accept that Amy is being given the spotlight in that issue, and that she's now going to be a major character.
But to be fair, if I'm going to accept her as a valid major character, I want her to get fleshed out a bit more. 'Cause as she stands right now, she's little more then a cardboard cut-out character going "Hi, I'm a cute girl who wants to be Sonic's girlfriend!"
Not that it's anybody's fault at Archie. If anything, the fault lies in Sega of Japan, for not giving Amy any personality beyond the "Pretty but Violent Girl with a Hammer" cliche.
I guess what I'm trying to say here is, please, make me care about Amy.
I'm more then willing to give her a chance, if you make her a living, breathing character in my eyes, much as has been done with Sonic, Knuckles and the others.
It certainly makes sense to ask this question here since Ian visits this board, but if you're looking for more of an immediate response, perhaps you could consider asking the question here:
