This was done during my 1hr lunch break across the street at a McD's, the interviewer requested that they remain unknown for now:

Quote:

My Sonic SatAM Memoires:

Interviewer: When did you first get into SatAM?

Bw1979: The first Time I got into SatAM was around the same time everyone else did. I remember watching perviews for it on ABC TV, and then watching the 5-10 mintue sneek peek on ABC's TGIF, that's when ABC used a half-hour of their TGIF block to perview the new shows for their new fall Saturday Morning Lineup, and I knew when I first saw it, that it was going to be something speical.

Interviewer: What did you think of the first offical airing?

Bw1979: I thought it was well done, as matter of fact, I thought, like everyone probably did that Sally and Bunnie were going to stay bad for the rest of the season thanks to the mind control Robotnik placed on them coursty of Lazar's Crystal, thankfully that didn't happen, but the writers did a good job in my view making me believe otherwise.

Interviewer: Ben Hurst said that because of the sports that pre-empetied it, that SatAM was bounced around a lot, did you ever get the chance to see it when it did that?

Bw1979: (Laughs) Actually, I did some bouncing around myself. When SatAM first permeried on ABC, I was living here in Kansas with my family, but due to some personal family issiues here, my mom, sisters and I ended up moving back to Califorina and in with my Grandparents, who at the time were already providing room and board for one of my Uncles, so my family and I had to share one room together and it was rough, let me tell you, espeically when I wanted to watch SatAM.

Now for some odd reason, SatAM didn't really get pre-empeited where I was living, all the local ABC station did out there was move it to an hour or hour and half later, so times when they had to use the time to air Golf or mostly College Football, SatAM would air at either 6am or 530am in the morning, which was hard for me, cause even though I knew this and tried my hardest to see it, I couldn't, because I would be told to turn it off and go back to sleep.

Interviewer: When did you fianlly get a chance to see it?, if any.

Bw1979: The time I finally got to see it was when, due to personal family issiues out there, it was decied to send me back out to Kansas to live with my father, that's when I was finally able to catch up on the entire 1st season, as matter of fact I took this chance to record some of the 1st season epsiodes on VHS, in which I still have, mixed in with other shows, though the tapes are not in that good shape anymore, they still play, hey it's been over 13 years.

Interviewer: Since you moved back to Kansas, Where you able to see the 2nd season as well?

Bw1979: Of Course! I admit though I did sleep halfway though the Season 2 permerie, which was "Game Guy", I did watch the rest of the season, as matter of fact, I ended up recoreding the almost the entire season on one tape, unforturaly, my VCR, which was old anyway died out in the recording area, so I had to watch the rest of Season 2 without recording it, which was shame.

Interviewer: How dissapointed were you when season 3 didn't air?

Bw1979: Very dissapointed. I mean, like all the SatAM fans I have talked to over the years, I was looking forward to a 3rd season, cause at the time I wanted to see who the red eyes belong too, because my first real thought was that it was Metal Sonic, because the eyes were shaped in the same way as Sonic's, I had no idea, when I found out years later online that it was Nagus, but I guess that's why the writers get paid for or the write the stories with cliffhangers to throw you off until the following season, in which SatAM's case was concered there wasn't any.

Interviewer: Do you have any favorite moments from the show you liked to share?

Bw1979: Sure, as matter of fact I have a few, my first one is when Bunnie is derobotsized, cause I was happy for her, because she was living her dream, sadly though that dream was short lived, when she reverted back to half robot, and you see her dissapointment with the tears coming out of her eyes, and you can't help but feel sad as well.

Same goes for Sally, when she reunited with her Father for a 2nd time in the "Void" epsiode only to have him taken away from her again, and like with Bunnie you can't help fell sorry for her, in fact there was and I'm not ashamed to say this, that when I see this scene over again, I feeling like crying myself, cause that's one thing a child doesn't need after the've found the father or mother, only to lose them all over again.

My 3rd fave though is obliviously everyone's fave, and that's when Sally and Sonic destroy the Doomsday machine, cause I like how the deep power stones temporaly transfer Sonic speed, if not a bit of his personality into Sally, and the reason I say, is because when she firlts with Sonic, that's actually something Sonic would do to Sally, not the other way around.

Interviewer: What was your reaction when you first saw the pilot "Heads or Tails" for the first time?

Bw1979: My first reaction was one of utter suprise and delight, cause I was just getting into the comic book at the time, and it was a thrill for me, because I thought I was watching a speical comic book epsidoe of the series, I had no idea, although I found out years later online at various Sonic sites, that it was the pilot epsiode, and the reason I say that was becasue when I first saw it was really the last epsiode to run during the 1st season.

Interviewer: Do you have anything to say in closing, before we wrap this interview up?

Bw1979: Yes. In closing, I want to say thanks to fellow SatAM fans for helping to make the DVD Boxset happen, it's couldn't have been done without you all, so my God Bless each and every one of you.

Also In closing, I want to say that someday I do hope that there is a way for the 3rd season to happen in some manner of format, hey if fans can get a Boxset to happen, perhaps we can get the 3rd season going as well.

Interviewer: Well then I guess that's all for now, Thanks again for your time Bw1979.

Bw1979: No problem, looking forward to do another someday. And Have a Happy Easter!

Interviewer: Perhaps we will and same to you!

So there you, no vids this time, what do you think?

WHY DOES THIS DESERVE ANOTHER TOPIC???

Should have put it in your bloody blog topic or something. Even though it isn't a video you probably could have put it there, instead.

so somebody randomly came off the street and interviewed you about a show that's been dead for.... i don't even know how many years. i know it's more than ten, but i don't remember.

can we just stop all of this SATam talk? seriously there's a dvd topic, in my eyes that's really the only satam topic that we SHOULD have, there's nothing else to discuss about it, it ran two seasons, and it was a corny show. honestly i think i'm going insane around some of you guys.

Hyper, this is the forum where we're supposed to talk about SatAM. Not liking it is your prerogative - but would you walk into South Island and ask people to stop talking about... let's say... Flickies' Island because you didn't like that?

It's the same thing. SatAM is part of this forum - if it offends you, just skip over those bits.

BW:

How many times now have you been told not to clog the forum with yet more SatAM topics, let alone your own opinions?

Regardless of thishighly suspect story of some utterly random fellow fan dragging you into McDonalds and interviewing you, there was no need for this thread in the first place. Wasn't one thread entirely populated by your own opinions enough?

Since I've been on hiatus, I'm not sure how many warnings you've stacked up for this. I'm taking it to the Staff Forum.
