Hi everyone,
While reading StH 188, seeing Amy in action made me think about her hammer within the comic's continuity. It's never really explained how she receives it... it just kind of appeared to her from thin air during the Sonic Adventure arc.
Does anyone know if it's explained in the Sonic X comics? Hopefully, somewhere down the line Amy's hammer and "super strength" (wild teenage hormones? power of the ring of acorns?) will be given more back story/context.
The power of love is a curious thing.
Makes one girlie hedgehog crazy
Makes another one wish on a ring.
Changes frustration into hammer-like death from above
More than a beating - that's the power of love.
Tougher than steel, sweet like cream
Stronger and harder is this one girl's dream
Make bad thoughts good make wrong one's right
Power of love that keeps him up all night.
Chorus 1:
She don't need pity, won't take blame
Don't need no sanity to play this game
She's strong and she's sudden and she's cruel sometimes
But she might just change his life
That's the power of love.
So... um, yeah. Archie Amy = OMG HAX due to Ring of Acorns, Sonic X Amy = OMG HAX due to being based on an anime cliche.
Then what is SegaSonic Amy's excuse?
Just plain OMGHAX?
Don't forget that hammers are often used for psychotic self-proclaimed girlfriends.
Makes one wonder if they all shop at the same place.
Amy is actually a Dwarf in disguise
nicole could make it from her nano-bot things. :p
It's really a "whack-a-mole" hammer stolen from a Chuck E. Cheese in Station Square.
