Because it makes me wonder, if perhaps he has something plan to finally get this settled. I mean if you look at the preview cover for Sonic #213, you see perhaps, who Sally has chosen, or basically what her decision was in #212. So I wonder if Ian, with all the hints, he's thrown our way, if perhaps this year or going into the next (Which is ironically Sonic's 20th anniversary), that if he has a story planned to finally get this settled.
Like perhaps have Sally or someone address the fact (which was only address once in the comics) that even through she has the body of 15-16 year old, she's till mentally the same girl that chased and sent mail to Sonic on a daily basis, and that if she wants to be grown up, she has to get over her obsession with trying to be Sonic's girlfriend.
But hey, that's just my take and opinion on it.
I just have this strong feeling, that Ian will have or has something planned and ready to go soon.
I don't know why anyone would be interested in a Amy vs Sally anything? I mean I'm sure Knothole let alone the rest of Mobius has other problem to worry about, and if those problem are solved before then (temporally, until the next villainous threat emerges).
I much rather have a sketchbook like issue for Sonic's 20th, just to satisfy the art lover in me or maybe a "How to Draw Sonic" issue (ohwakkawakkawakkainsidejokewakka)

Isn't it pretty much established at this point that Amy has mentally matured to her teenage age at this point? Her continuous crush on Sonic may just be there for the sole sake that it's from the video game. *shrugs*
... I'm more interested in a story about Sonic on Sonic's 20th Anniversary to be honest.
Far as Amy VS Sally goes ...

I disagree. Amy has definitely matured as a character since she's become a Freedom Fighter. She's been less of the Happy-go-Lucky Girl or even the Damsel in Distress that she was in the earlier years and more of someone that Sonic and the others can depend on. A solid member of the Freedom Fighters in other words. Amy even handled the Fiona thing with more grace that could be expected. She did not attack Fiona at the end because she " stole her man " but more because she abused Sonic's trust which sounds like a perfectly acceptable SMASHIE offense to me.
Speaking of Sonic it seems that Sonic is seeing her less as the " creepy stalker girlfriend " and more as a close valued friend in recent issues. Their solo mission to Moebius in particular showed that they were perfectly capable of working together like any other member of the Freedom Fighters. Not to mention the most recent incident where Sonic actually agreed to spend some time with Amy. That doesn't have to be taken in a romantic sense but it can be taken as a sign that Sonic has grown tolerant of Amy.
if she wants to be grown up, she has to get over her obsession with trying to be Sonic's girlfriend.

Psx summed up my sentiments on this thread.
Lol, that's funny. I havent read very many recent issues... I mean, it's become such a continuous thing where there's that whole "I havent read some previous issues. IM TOTALLY LOST" factor that comes with most soap operas and TV dramas that I'm just going through the archives hoping that it will grow into the issues that are out NOW as issues that WILL be out LATER (maybe) ARE out. Make sense?
Meh. Im not all too interested in seeing an Amy VS Sally thing, but I wouldnt mind it, either. (Did that make sense?) Dont get me wrong, I prefer Sally, as this helps differentiate the comics from any other Sonic-related universe, but a change in the norm is always good to keep things interesting.
This looks suspiciously similar in composition and topic as the thread that Vec closed earlier this week. I do hope you're talking about Amy vs Sally in a physical fisticuffs battle and not anything relationship related, as you know dang well that's not allowed.
I'd rather see the opposite - after all, if you wanna get contreversial, there's nothing like a little Hedgehog/Squirrel action! 8D
