You heard me right, I just saw the preview cover for 194 in a video that someone posted, and from the looks of it, she's more crazier then anyone thought, oh and she's sporting the orgina classicl Amy look, and her hammer is green with points on both ends.

.....I still say that Amy using sonic as a humansheild is just wrong...So what if your Psycho double is trying to kill you...thats no reason to use the main character as a sheild...Plus Amy Prime is obviously older then her...& could'nt she just use her piko-piko hammer against Rosies (Anti-amy's) Spiky-spiky hammer, or would that not be very affective though...Gotta say though overall lovin this cover

Evil amy smash RARRR!!!!!

It looks more as though she's pulling him out of the way, rather than pushing him forward for shield-use.

Awesome! I'm so glad that Ian is showing more antis; I hope he shows Anti-Knux again and maybe premiere the Anti-Chaotix or the Bright Legion!

Either way, is this basically like the Tossed in Space Arc except now Sonic gets to do the interdimensional trip with a different partner this time?

how long is this arc supposed to go on for? enerjak was 4 right? and the mogul one was 4 or 5 i think. and this one is going in that direction.

Honestly, I was expecting a different look from Anti-Amy. Judging by the cover, she still has her normal clothes, and not even a palette swap, which is kind of disappointing. Was expecting more.

I definitely agree with Full Metal Rayzor on this one; I'd like to see some Anti-Versions of villains too. As for the #194 cover, I just love the fact that both Sonic and Amy are terrified by the appearance of Amy's Anti-counterpart: the expressions on their faces are priceless. Still, of any Anti Mobian to be scared of, I wouldn't pick Anti-Amy.

Not really, I think the two are different. As it is, Sonic didn't have a partner for Tossed in Space. It just seems like Sonic and Amy somehow get thrown into Moebius and try to get back. They're only in Moebius for #193-194 I believe. The Tossed in Space took much longer and had very different circumstances. If you look at the cover, they are back in Mobius Prime, the star posts are proof of that. It looks more like Anti-Amy follows them into Mobius Prime.

Also, Legionfan44, she's NOT using Sonic as a shield. I think Nelstone got it right, it looks more like she's trying to help him up or pull him out of the way from Anti-Amy. It would be completely out of character for Amy to use Sonic as a shield.

Why? Everybody from Anti Mobius look exactly like their regular mobius counter parts save clothes and one or two minor changes. I mean didn't Patch fool Sally and Bunnie for a while? The hammer should work and whatever quirks they did to her personality.

Just that the whole having the same type of outfit for Anti-Amy never really agreed with me. Everyone else got physical changes to what they wore, so why not her?

Because it's a fun oldschool throwback?

Scary as it is, I bet a lot of readers don't even know that Amy had a previous look. =P

Well, Amy-Prime wished to be older, I don't see why Anti Amy did'nt just wish for eternal youth or something. Makes perfect sense to me.

True. That circumstance with the S(t)up(id)er emerald may never have occurred in her realm. So she should still be a young buck. That hammer is awesome though xD. Wonder though, if Scourge likes A-Amy in Anti-Mobius-or if A-Amy superbly hates Scourge and wants to end his life....becoming a valuable truce member :O?

My fault. That's possibly relationship discussion, and I apologize, but it has merit-since were dealing with dopplegangers and what not.

It was making a wish on the Ring of Acorns that made her older, not a Super Emerald.

Personally, I'd have found it being yet another emerald ability a bit easier to swallow than a ring-shaped fairy godmother (it just seemed like an even bigger deus ex machina than usual). But that's me.

Well, Scourge physically attacked Amy in #190, and said: "And I don't need to deal with another one of you!", so I'm guessing he doesn't like his version of Amy. Also, if Amy is obsessed with/loves/is his self appointed girl-friend(This is okay to say right? This was basically the comics description of her in #188/game description of her) of Sonic then I would assume that Anti-Amy despises Scourge and would want to off him.

I personally like this new Anti-Amy design. I like the throwback, like Lea said, a lot of new gamers probably don't know about it. It is perfect contrast and I agree with Toby, Anti Amy wishing for eternal youth rather than growing older makes perfect sense to me.

So, I just peeked in here after PMing Sam, (cuz it was in her recent posts log), and I just want to say...

"What?"

The cover alone says 1000 words to me. But unfortunately, it's all gibberish, so I can't even understand it. I'm seeing you all posting "anti-mobius" and "anti-amy", "prime-amy", and... wow, I'm glad I dropped this comic.

I would ask for someone to get me up to speed, but then I'd just be lying. My true question is: this has nothing to do with the old inter-dimensional Sonic guys, right, (from one of the very first issues, in the teens I believe, with the 5 million different Sonics?). If it is, I will say it's nice for them to pick out stuff from the old days.

Well, that's why they put the old design on the Anti-Amy. Amy Prime may have grown, but we have no idea about Anti-Amy.

It's also a bit of an interesting contrast. I don't see how having a doppleganger pop up hurts the original's character development at all.

In a bit of a twist, Anti-Amy mistakes Sonic for Scourge even though they look completely different sans the hedgehog motif.

AMY ROSE: "Wow! She can't even tell you guys apart! What a nincompoop, right Sonic?"
SONIC: "..."

Spaz did the Sonic X cover. o_O Unless you mean the regular series?
Either way, I love all three. Might buy Sonic Selects as I never have been able to get Knuckles Chaotix in all my years of collecting.

Amy is a self deluded smashing machine with the heart of an angel. Having her fun house mirror image be a psychopath feels just plain cheap. EVERY anti-FFs has been psychopathic in one way or another (some to lesser degrees than others like Miles and Anti-Sally). And I can already hear Amy Bashers screaming that there is no difference between the two Amys at all! Geeze! Amy is a well meaning hot head. If her fun house mirror image was cool, calm, collected, and had a heart of ice, I could understand. But having Amy's personality inversion be just an Amy whose completely insane (which 99% of her bashers think she already is anyway!) feels more like an in-joke than the basis for another of the Anti-FFs. That's my opinion on the matter, for whatever it's worth.

She could very well still be. No one's read the issue yet, and you can't judge a character's personality solely on what the cover solicitations portray. Those things haven't ALWAYS been accurate.

Obviously the Anti-FFs/SS aren't complete inversions of their real-world counterparts. Sonic and Scourge are hardly polar opposites, are they?

Hmm am I the only one [that from the covers depiction at least], thinks that our Amy Rose is the calm and collected one in comparasion to 'Anti-Amy', whom I think will be psychotically obssessed with Scourge, insane and with a heart of ice for her foes?

Archie Amy isn't as bad as the one in games, from Heroes onwards has been depicted as...

An off-topic post here [but wasn't sure whether to put it her or in SegaSonic] regarding the following...

Amy also has tarot cards. She has been seen using them before her transformation to her older self. They have not been seen since then. She has been able to successfully tell the futures of Knuckles, Sonic, Tails, and unknown to her Shadow and Rouge. She apparently helped Sonic and Tails in battle by predicting Eggman's robots' movements and finding his weakness.

Does anyone know where I can see images of these Tarot Cards in question? Like a comics # or the Sonic X episode in question?

It's just I'm using them in a fanfic I'm writing atm and whilst I've known of her ability to use them for an age, I don't remember seeing them much, or if at all. I'd just like to see the originals for beginning my own visual interpretation of them thats all.

Any help would be much apprenciated!

As far as I know, the only mentions to her tarot cards were in the Sonic CD booklet (they told her she would meet her true love on The Little Planet) and in Sonic Battle where she manages to track Sonic down using them.

Both times it is just referred to in text and we have no images regarding them. This is SegaSonic stuff. As far as I know, Sonic X and Archie have never adapted that character quirk, thusly there are no pictures.

I may be wrong, however.

In issue #145, Eggman mentions that Amy's tarot card reading is a pain to him and his operations.
