I was on TV.com & found out that Shoutbox plans to realease V2 of AOSTH this december! heres the link!

I'm so happy this is great news!!! so what does everybody else think?
It's so beautifully rare to see America getting screwed over by DVDs. $25 for a volume of the show is pretty redonkulous given that the UK has had the entire 65 ep show in stores for £15 ($28).
So in that respect, I feel it's nothing to get excited over. The whole show can be obtained quicker, cheaper and in a single set for anyone willing to import and with the capability of playing region 2.

I don't Think its rediculous AOSTH is one of the best of all time cartoons along with Satam, & I lets face it american companys (even small ones) are greedy. but the prics seems just right to me heck i wouldn't mind paying 30 or 40 for it!
But anyway back on topic it comes out December9 & v3 is planned for an 09 release!
My point wasn't that releasing AoStH is ridiculous. It's that anyone paying and waiting when the entire thing is already on DVD is.
True, Craig, but not everyone has a DVD player capable of playing Region 2. *grumbles about lack of LoM region 1 release.* Anyhow, I don't think the price seems that unreasonable.
I haven't gotten the AoStH box set vol 1 yet. Not sure I'm particularly interested. SatAM was more to my taste but I haven't even gotten that box set, only the smaller DVD DiC released a few years ago. I suppose I'll get it eventually.
It's great to see that these shows are finally getting DVD releases, though.
so I'd need to get a UK DVD player to get the UK AoStH DVD set? hmmmmmm.
Or just hack your DVD player. Google the model and make and there's most likely a button sequence you can press to make it multiregional.
No, you won't need to import a player from the UK. You just need a region-free DVD player or one that allows you to switch between region (same thing if it has '0' as a selection choice). The majority of players nowadays have a way to change the region - see this.
EDIT: What Matt said >.<
That sort of thing has never been much help to me because for me a large part of the reason I buy DVDs isn't just to watch them on my own player, I also bring them with me when I visit friends and often lend them out. They get around. I suspect it's the same for many people, so simply hacking one's own player isn't always an adequate solution.

Tom is absolutlty Right.
anywho back on topic...If V2 is getting a christmas 08 release, i hope wo don't have to wait another whole year after that for V3, that would suck!
(& and off topic Both Freakazoid & Tinytoons are coming out on dvd the 29th of this month, 90's toons ftw!!!)
