Also Eggman says he has been monitering Dulcy for YEARS he hasn't been on this Mobious that long. Plus even if you ignore that if he had been secretly monitering her that long wouldn't she have led him to Knothole years ago. This story had just so many plot holes. I know you didn't write it but since you work their I thought you could deliver some insight.
4. In your other forum you stated Hunter was "dead as a dornail" then later recanted the statement when someone brought up that Monk surved a fall from the Island as well. I would like to point out what happened to the two of them was completly different. Getting tossed off the Island by some relatively ordinary Echidna's is no where near as fatal as being thrown from high above the Island by Super Knuckles.

I'm pretty sure they explained that in the issue by saying that the dragons were too far underground, or something? I dunno, it's been a while since I read the issue.

Yes and no. In my mind, all polar bears are stronger than your average mobian. Bark, however, is just as you speculated: inconceivably strong for his race, just like Mighty.

Let's address these in order:
A) As MattManiac points out below, the dragons were hidden underground and were overlooked by the Bem.
B) Eggman has access to all of the previous Robotnik's files. He's laid claim to them all, so think of it as an uninterrupted surveillance.
C) In "Home," it's pretty apparent he knows where Knothole is. Either way, it's a point I plan on following up on.
They aren't plotholes, folks. They're "creative opportunities." =D

I don't want to dwell on the subject of character death, but I will clarify a few things:
- I never recanted Hunter's fate, but rather admitted Monk's survival made me think over things. Read Dr. Finitevus' Date File in S#161 to get the final word on Hunter.
- Those "ordinary echidnas" were the Brotherhood - the most powerful Chaos energy users pre-Knuckles/Shadow. With that much power, they could conceivably hurl someone off the island onto a certain mountain and ensure he survives - all as a scare tactic. Hypothetically.
5. Why is Antoine still the Commander when he wasn't the one that really got the position?
Antoine was promoted to Commander during the Mecha Madness arc.
6. Are you going to explain why Mina suddenly gained super speed for no reason?
There's a story I'd really like to tell to explain her speed, but I don't know when/if we'll get to it. The thought is there, at least.
As for the subject concerning Alexis' "princess" title, I have a strong feeling that's what she may be called. If memory serves correctly, this one young women recently married in Australia married a prince from somewhere in Europe, and since then, she's been called "Princess Mary", Mary being her name, of course.
But onto the questions.

I know she tried to trick him to get the Master Emerald but her thought balloons showed she was attracted to him. Plus it seems that Ken was seting up their relationship similar to her's and Knuckles in the games.
4. Are we going to see some interaction in the gang besides the usual pairs. I know we all love seeing Tais,Sonic, Antoine and Bunny, Bunnie and Sally, and family type interaction but will we see some variety. How about seeing Tails interact with Amy. Bunnie interact with Rotor or Antoine interacting with smeone besides Bunnie, or Sonic.
5. I was under the impression that the Commonder position was just in Freedom Fighter times when the Kingdom was in shambles. Geoffry was said to be Comander afterwards. Patch got promoted to it while he was sneaking around and it seems like Antoine kept the job.
6. Was the Dulcy story one of those stories intended to be before Zorda attack but got pushed back. It seems that way the whole they were ubderground as robots excuse was only mentioned in part two when they were doing a recap of part one where it wasn't even mentioned. It seems like they just put that in at the last minute. That and Patch didn't look very evil or brooding to me.

No the fandom didn't give Evil Antoine that name. Ken Penders used the name "Patch" in Sonic #150 for Evil Antoine. That's why everyone has been using that name.

Nack and Rouge are soloists at heart, so team-up will have to be in their benefit. Since there isn't anybody out there Nack can tolerate right now, don't expect him to team up any time soon. As for Nic, we'll be addressing what's become of her next year (again - if all goes as planned).

All I can say is there are plans for Nicole. Minor stuff this year, major stuff next year.

Rouge will not be romantically involved with someone old enough to be her father. She may play up on an older man's affections as a means to an end, but there is no romance between Locke and Rouge.

I did some more research, mostly by doing a case study of Henry VIII. His lineage is a little more, various, than most of the monarchs of England. As most people should know, after the confusion of the War of the Roses, Henry VIII knew that in order to keep his family in power, he had to produce a definite heir, preferably a male. (NOTE: For those of you immature individuals who don't know the proper definition of "bastard", don't bother reading.)

From this interesting case, I've found several pieces of information that might be of some use.
-The heir can be anyone that the ruling monarch wants to be, essentially.
-The heir tends to be the person who is the closest to rule after ruling monarch (closer in line to the throne).
-Heirs tend to be chosen for
-agreeable political views
-easy/agreeable transition of power
-"family tradition"
So, in the comic's case, Alexis can be considered an heir, although there would have to be extreme conditions. Should Elias die, and Meg is declared (or declares herself) that she is unable to take sole responsibility for the throne, then Sally would take over, being that she is closer in line to the throne than Alexis. (Age and experience should also be a factor.) If everyone else is dead, however, then the Kingdom would essentially have no choice.

In your assesment that would put Alexis on the throne, are you including the deaths of Maximillian and Alicia? Or is it that the previous ruling generation is completely out of the running?
I was assuming that Max and Alicia would want to leave this to a younger and more adaptable generation. But yes, Max and Alicia could take the throne if need be. After all, they do have the experience. However, Max, due to his age and possible underlaying health conditions, might not be able to rule as efficiently as he would if he were, say, 20 years younger.
Long story short, Max and Alicia can retake the throne, but it should only be for as long as it would take to find a more permanent solution (read: another heir).
I finally got part 2 of "Birthday Bash" and it was awsome now on to the questions.
1. How commonly known is Shadow on Mobius, in the last Shadow story when he and Sonic reach the castle a random Mobian says "look Shadow's their too". One would think due to the nature of his creation and the way he generally avoids contact with people that his existence would be a secret except to the Freedom Fighters and those connected.
2. Before Birthday Bash what would the reaction of any of the freedom fighters if they were to suddenly encounter Shadow( not including Sonic). Like say Bunnie, Tails, Sally or Amy.
3. The comic did a rather half hearted adaption of Sonic Adventure 2 ealier but given what was happening at the time it seems impossible for events to play out anywhere close to being like the game's. For one neither Knuckles or Tails could have had any involvement. Rouge apparantly hadn't met Sonic either. So what did happen like the games and what didn't.
4. Why did Shadow want to kill Eggman in the Home arc, from what I understand of their history isn't Shadow the one who stabbed him in the back.
5. Why does Eggman have a grandfather named Robotnik his last name has always been Kintobor. The family couldn't have had a name change becuase past stories over the years show the family name as dating back centuries.
6. Is Patch's deception, attempted assasination and impersonation of Antoine common knowledge or do only the freedom fighters and the royal family know about it.
7. After everything Patch pulled it's ridiculous that Sonic would just send him back to his own universe with out paying any consequences. Now that he's back home he'll just live it up with his old gang due to the fact that the Anti-Freedom fighters basically rule the planet. Why didn't Sally or anyone else have him thrown in prison, it's not like Zonic would argue about seeing as he obviously doesn't give a flip about his job anymore.
8. Will Tails ever meet his Uncle Merlin Prower.
9. First of all I'd like to say that it was probably for the best to have the Evil Sonic flirting with the girls thing gotten out of the way but one thing is left hanging. Are you ever going to have Sonic and Sally talk about how Bunnie made out with Evil Sonic thinking it was Sonic and Sally married Patch thinking it was Antoine? The two of them are supposed to be best friends and it seems like something of a cheat to just sweep that under the rug. I'm not saying it should be dragged out as drama for a long time, that would be stupid. What I'm saying is they should at least be having at least one conversation about it to resolve matters and then thing get back to normal. You no this way fans won't feel let down.

Not very. It's unknown how (visibly) active Shadow was during Sonic's Tossed in Space jaunt, but like you, I'd expect he kept a low profile. Word of who and what Shadow is probably spread through Knothole fairly quickly, though. Take the exclamation from the crowd as someone making an excellent intuitive leap.

Pretty much as it is now - fear and apprehension. As BB showed, Shadow does his own thing, even when he's allied with a certain power. Considering he is Sonic's equal at least, superior at most, that's something to be concerned about. There wasn't any room to play upon that in BB, but our heroes would've felt much more at ease with Sonic present.

That's a tricky one. Since we found Shadow stranded in space to be rescued by the Bem, I think we can assume at least the Super Sonic/Shadow fight against the BioLizard happened. Otherwise, I'm not totally sure. If we ever visit locations or mention past events, we'll fill in the gaps via flashback.

Shadow was, at that time, a chaotic force. (still is in many ways). In his mind, Dr. Eggman's death would be a good thing. The good doctor has since convinced him otherwise.......for now.

Keep in mind that when Julian Kintobor's history was laid out, there was no Gerald Robotnik. There was barely a Sonic Adventure by that point. One could say the Robotnik family changed its name to escape the shame of association to Gerald, perhaps. But right now there is no canon explanation.

Excellent question. I would think that Antoine is the type of guy to personally apologize to all those Patch wronged. Word would spread from there. I don't think it'd be the big gossip of the town, but something murmured - kept seemingly quiet for Antoine's sake.

I'd like to, but we're already really busy with moving the present-day material forward. If I ever get the opportunity, I will jump at it.
As for the RLE, I've got an idea for them, but if everything were to go exactly my way (HA!) we might see it dealt with late next year/early 2008. That's so ridiculously far ahead, I wouldn't bank on it. Like Sherman, I'll tie that loose end up when I can.

Right now, my only concern as far as tying up some loose ends is the virtual reality virus that Sonic caught way back in #51. Later on, when a reader asked who actually did it, the current editor said that Robo-Robotnik was behind it, "but Sonic doesn't know about it yet, so don't tell him!", or some other random explanation. That made me hope that it was going to be resolved sometime soon, but that was around the 70s-80s era, and we still have no idea. Clearing this up would be wonderful.
However, top priority is top quality stories, and from what I saw with "Birthday Boys", you seem up to the challenge. Thank you.
The VR-medal thing was an attempt on Sonic's life by Robo-Robotnik. That one is small enough I can "answer" it here with enough confidence.
Unless it's stated in the comic, it's not canon of course, but I don't foresee us revisiting that one any time soon.
Shortly after Knux #17, someone asked Justin how Hawking could mistake Moritori for Tobor, when Tobor had the guardian marking and Mori didn't. Justin replied by saying it would be touched upon later on, but it never did.
Will you touch on this matter at all or is it up in the air? FYI, this is spawned by the profile on Finitivus that says he has a guardian ring birthmark on him.
The bigger question right now - for me - would be "Where is Moritori Rex and the surviving Brotherhood members now?"
For now, let me unofficially chalk it up to Dark Legion trickery. If I get a chance to dig that far back in continuity, I will. Until then - trickery!
Have we even seen Rex since... SSS 14? (...whichever one was the start of the Green Knux saga, after Sonic Adventure). He was on the ship with Lien-Da and Dimitri, but then I don't think he's been mentioned since.

1. Just out of curiousity I was wondering if there would be any development on pairing up Lien-Da and Dr. Finitevus? Those two were stuck together like glue during the RTAI saga. I honostly think it'd be awesome to play up to them being really great friends since Lien-Da is an emotional mess right now. (They even both have goals to take over the world...I was surprised to read Fini thought like that in #161, and I've changed my Sonic muse to be him for the time being since Enerjak has been missing from the scene.) Dimitri seems to be a more peaceful guys nowadays, which is fine by me, but Lien-Da is so caniving it wouldn't surprise me if she just tossed Dimitri's old plans for echidna peace out the window.
2. I know this is way down continuity, but will we ever find out where the heck Luger dissapeared to? That is a lot of potential story development for both Julie-Su and Lien-Da. ;__;

The Spider Ninja Kids took the Sword of Acorns off to parts unknown. They'll be showing up again reeeeeeeal soon, though.

I don't think it was so much the Source choosing the Acorns as it was the Acorns were the only line to utilize the rare material. As the supply dwindled further (i.e. just the Crown and Sword of Acorns), the "contamination" of the Acorns began to show. Or something. I'm gonna join in on Neo's comment and say that when this happens I am going to have an absolute joygasm. I've thought of a ton of excuses for plot holes before, but I am absolutely clueless for an explanation to this one. ^^;
So Ian, now that SEGA Eggman has new look can we expect that Archie Robotnik will share the same desing too? Also any idea how to fit princess Elise and her kingdom into continuity?
I don't expect us to have to change Eggman any time soon. Sonic Rivals and Wild Fire appear to be staying true to the cartoony style, so I'm assuming their Eggman will follow suit. There's not plans to change ArchieEggman anytime soon - that I'm aware of.
As for Princess Elise and Soleanna, I'll see if I can't wedge them into my overarching ideas for the post-Tossed in Space human/Overlander population. Time will tell.

So, what do you think of Silver? Any plans to use him in the book? Will Sega give you the info you need for the character, or will you have to wait and play the game first?
While I share the seemingly universal sentiment of "yet another new character?", I am a character junkie and I'm enjoying my fix. I think his game looks increadibly fun to play, and I've grown fond of his design.
Being a psychic, of course I want to have him in the book, because psychics are fun to write! But before I lay a finger on him, I need to know everything about him (or everything Sonic06 will provide). Sega seems to be pretty easy-going about when/how we do our tie-ins, so don't expect Silver to show up any time soon.

I thought this had been covered already...? It's hard to keep track of two forums at once. And I can't keep up with another Table of Contents. Aaaand I'm derailing my own topic!
Aside from Scourge (which is debatable), there will be no new characters in my first two years on Sonic.
so that means he isn't a new character. that's interesting, but there IS no one besides finitevus who could possibly be him.
but even he is debatable. anonymous is just as tall as robotnik so that narrows it down to very few.
One last question, The original Robotnik is gone for good correct?
