1) The roboticized "original FF's" from that god-awful 142-143 arc. Is it safe to assume that they're gone for good? Or do they have any possibility of returning from the void?
It's pretty safe to assume they're gone for good.
2) NO SPOILERS: In #164, Sir Connery mentions how he slayed the dark magic users, and says Damocles is done for. Can we assume that he also killed off Mathias Poe, the Enchantress, and the Sorceror? Or might they appear later on?
It's pretty safe to assume they're gone for good. (x2)
You said that the grapes are now gone for good (except one....hmmm...). If they are actually gone forever... is there any other character you'd like to say - for the record - had been captured in the grapes? Any one else you'd like to delete?
No, just those who are shown.
Although I have to admit you got me on one - who's Tatiana? The one doesn't ring a bell.

1. Is there anything specific you can tell about the relation the writer and artist(s) have to have when working on the same comic projects?
Depends on the team. I try to be readily accessible to the artists and some artists need/want more interaction that others. I've corresponded with Tracy more than any other artist, but I've also done more work with him. It's all a matter of personal preference.
2. When it comes to scripting certain locations in the comic, do you have any set idea of what the geography and dimensions are like in those particular area?
I try to describe what I'm thinking, which is based off of anything already shown in the comic. From there it's up to the artist to make it all fit visually. They set that standard more effectively than I ever could.
3. Have you ever had the feeling that there might just be too many characters and stories that can be told, and so little space to tell them in when you work on the comic?
It can be daunting at times, but I think that a little bit of screen time for each works out in the end. As for space - there will never be enough pages for me. Give me a million pages, new ones to be released every hour, and still I would want more. The limited space is a challenge, sure, but it keeps me focused.
4. Presuming that the fanbase could accept it, the backlash for it did not exist, and the comic sales either improved or stayed the same DESPITE it, what is your interpretation of a Sally/Nicole relationship beyond its current dimensions?
I get the feeling you're trying to steer me towards a certain answer there. They're friends. Sally trusts Nicole as a mentor and Nicole greatly appreciates Sally's friendship since it goes beyond "smart computer that helps." In a way, they're almost sisters.
5. How do you interpret Sonic's character?
He's a passionate character who takes life in stride - as paradoxical as that sounds. Life comes to him and he takes it in stride, acting more on intuition than methodical planning. The passion comes in with what he believes and who he cares for, and its those things that spur him into action - to meet life coming instead of taking it as it comes.
There's also an indomitable sense of fun about him. He may be an action hero, but the leaping from 12-stories up and smashing robots is mostly play for him. He enjoys the thrill, even lives for it to some degree.
6. Does the interpretation (see above question) clash in any way with the opinions of others within Archie Comics, or even in SEGA?
Hasn't so far.
7. It came to my attention that for the most part, Mina's singing is comparable to those of the modern pop stars in this generation (Brittney, Christina, etc...) Do you see it that way, or do you think Mina's singing is actually something a bit more unique?
I think she's got more talent than that, easily.
8. What are the worst things you hate in Comic Books of both past and present that you have seen?
"Hate" is an awful strong word. There are certain conventions to comics that you have to get used to, just like any medium. The one that causes me to roll my eyes is the constant death cheats - and I mean the ones where the character obviously died and is revived.
Jerboa - again
1) What is the official standing on Warlord Kodos? Dead, or maaaaaaybe?
Dead as a doornail.
2) And what did you say happened to Jeff, Karl, and Conor? They died? Sorry if you mentioned this before, but it was never clear to me.
Poisoned. Dead.
3) Why are there loads of Arachnis children on the cover of 163?
You'd have to ask Spaz.
Tatiana was Antoine's ex-girlfriend as depicted in Romy Chacon's S#137 backstory, "One Part Ooh-La-La, Two Parts Treachery!"
Ah-ha! That's why she didn't sound familure.
Thanks EE.
how were jeff, carl and conor poisoned?
By Nack after he escaped the prison.
is this stuff like going to be put into the comic one day, or is this going to remain unofficial?
I felt there was enough blatant carnage as it was, and Nack was more of the stealthy killer. Thus, the highly unimportant (but still dangling plotpoint) weasel gang was bumped off. I purposefully worded it so it wouldn't be overt, just to "dull the edge" so to speak.
I don't see why there has to be more thought put into this. They weren't even officially named, and now they're gone. Let us move on.
I'm kinda disappointed hearing that the evil wizards Knuckles faced in Knuckles' Quest are all gone. They probably would've made great apprentices to Naugus.
...Hmm.. I don't suppose Naugus or Mogul are familiar with Necromancy, would they?
I hadn't considered that within the realms of Ixian magic. Necromancy would really dance on the line of both death-cheats and acceptibility in the comic - I think.
I can't rule it out, but I'll say it's unlikely right now.
So, what happened to the rings? Will we be seeing their use soon, or will you explain why Sonic hasn't been using them lately?
Some of the characters that were in the Egg Grapes that I've heard possibly dies disturb me like Simon or the Ant Council and especially Remmy, which is the one I bet survives. Simon bugs me because he's the only father figure Julie has and now she's lost 2 of them, and the Ant Council bugs (no pun intended but I will take it) me because they're like the Fire-Ant version of the Brotherhood and unless the Brotherhood is killed off I don't think they should have been killed off, but your the writer, plus the fact that Archy is now family-less. I won't comment on Remmy since I bet he'll be the one that survives.

i'm just saying, because not everyone reads this message board or yours for that matter. most of you're fans just by the comic every month, read it, and put it away. and since sonic grams is no longer in existence, there's no way for those fans to know. not everyone uses a computer.

So, what happened to the rings? Will we be seeing their use soon, or will you explain why Sonic hasn't been using them lately?
The rings have been harvested to power Knothole lately. I can't remember off-hand if that was stated officially or if that was just the direction Karl wanted to go - it's how I've been thinking of it, at least. They haven't shown up in the stories primarily because we haven't needed them, or they would be awkward to work in there.

There's no way for the fans to know? It's within the comic itself - you don't need to have read it on a message board to know what happened. It's subtly put, but I picked up on the implications myself, and I know others did without having been told online.
Nack said he'd leave a surprise (something initially undetectable that would only be discovered after the fact) in the kitchen (food) for his former buddies (meaning he no longer associates with or cares about them). What kind of nasty surprise would one put in food to be given to people they want to be rid of? It's not hard to figure out.

Well there's always ExLax. They wouldn't be dead, but they'd probly wish they were. On a more serious note, here's a weasel related question cuz I know Ian can't get enough of them 😛
During the Green Knuckles Saga Nic is piloting a spiffy airship. She says it came from an old boyfriend but to my knowledge the dude is never refered to by name. Was it perhaps one of the now-deceased Weasel Gang?
That would make things tie up into a nice, neat little bow, wouldn't it?
Can't officially confirm or deny that, primarily since Nic ranks about the same as the late Weasel Gang in terms of importance.
With the recent plot points in TDS, how does his depiction in the "Home" arc fit in? ADAM was written as a complete dupe when it came to rhetorical questions and stupid jokes. Perhaps it was just a ruse, but it seems to run counter with ADAM's motives.
And this is just a minor point, but Eggman is now directly responsible for the deaths of thousands. To cast him in a light-hearted and humorous manner after that seems inappropriate, even sick. How do you feel about that? Whether this is relevant or not is debatable, but it's the first thing that came to mind.
At the end of the "Home" arc, A.D.A.M. seems rather enlivened by the word-play. Whose to say the banter didn't spark something within the AI that drove it to think further and further outside the box - but still to an ultimate goal?
You'll see.
As for your concerns on Eggman - yes, it's sick. It's disturbing. It's pretty much what I was aiming for. If you can't love him for the evil, love him for the humor. If you can't love him for the humor, love him for the evil. If you can't love either, love to hate him. Just one big, sick love-fest for the fat man =D
Ian, you've made me a happy man. That's exactly how I've wished the Eggman would be in the comic for a long, loooooong time. =D
it's better than a certain forumer saying that robotnik's not that evil. that's kind of what i was thinking too. technically he's a murderer.
Yeah, this sure raises the evil bar for Eggman. Sure he started off somewhat goofy, but just look at him now!
Makes me wonder what is worse, being fed toxins and having your mind wiped, only to be lost to the Zone of Silence, and in time will die, or being roboticized, technically alive but having no control over your own will (a fate worse than death?).
Looks like good old Robotnik has been outmatched.
I think you misunderstand. My concern was about the WRITER making light of Eggman. The difference between a loveable weekday cartoon villain and a cold-blooded murderer is enormous. Are you suggesting Eggman can be both? Depiciting a ruthless killer in a joking manner is not unheard of, but that is serious black humor territory.
It's not as though Robotnik had never been depicted as capable of murder before. Sure, his method's usually been imprisonment/roboticizing, but he also had the Ultimate Annihilator as well as a nice big pile of nuclear missiles, and I don't think those were made with the intent of sparing anyone. I seem to remember even Fiona saying he had left her to die, Geoffrey and Hershey would have been killed if not for Sonic's return from space, and while I could be misremembering, didn't Robo-Robotnik hop zones in the first place because he had killed his zone's Sonic? That kind of intent combined with his eccentric behavior, in my opinion, makes him all the more spooky a villain.
Some of your examples are referring to Robotnik Prime, who at any rate WAS taken seriously. The other examples are correct, and were just as inappropriate. The recent mass-murder just makes it a lot more obvious. If the character isn't viewed seriously and is instead played for laughs half the time, it's very black humor.
Are you forgetting that Robotnik Prime had a childish goofy side as well? Dark humor is'nt unfamiliar territory for either.
Robotnik-Prime had a sacrastic sense of humor - not necesarrily goofy. He was quite the dud in early issues (along with everyone else), but once things moved out of Looney Tunes territory and Robotnik's acts became more henious, he was shown in a different light to match.
Whether Eggman doesn't take his actions seriously isn't the problem; the problem is when the comic doesn't take Eggman seriously. Are we really supposed to laugh at a character that has killed thousands of people? It just doesn't seem right.
It's not really like he killed all those mobians himself. All he was responsible for was capturing them and draining them. That seems right up Eggman's alley: next to roboticizing/enslavement and all that.
The grapes were lost due to Anonymous's planning. For me, Anonymous is the one who heartlessly off-ed thousands - which makes sense considering who Anonymous is.
I was more disturbed when RobotnikPrime was annihilating things/overlanders in #50 and when RoboRobotnik roboticized overlanders knowing what would happend to them. This most recent event seems more like a tragic accident (caused by Anonymous) than a flaw on Eggman's character or whatever.
I'd love to see Knuckles reaction when he finds out what's happened to his people.
Ok. I have a bunch of questions, and some are long. If you read all this, thanks a BUNCH.
1. Why not have the original Robotnik come back, even if for a very short time, like an arc? Death in comics isn't heavenly gates, it's a revolving door. He would make your biggest story since #50, which ironically enough, he was in.
2. Why make Anonymous give off a silhouette of the original Doctor if it's not him? Cause you can't deny that's what virtually EVERYONE that reads it is going to think. Short, stubby, and with the long mustache? I was like, "YES. Only took 56 issues.", and now after reading spoilers I'm back to and is he EVER going to make another appearance? Cause he could make a Metal Sonic that doesn't suck.
3. Which brings me to my next question, what's with the cheesy depictions of Metal Sonic. I know this isn't the games, but why not make him more like his counterpart? He's got his OWN attitude, disobeyed Robotnik, and made his own plans (Sonic Heroes; only significant story appearance since Sonic CD...cause Game Gear games don't count altho awesome). And he was apparently the original Metal Sonic from CD, and not just another one shot off the production line. His Heroes look was unique, then the comics shot off dozens that looked just like it >_> . Metal needs to come back, with his own personality and plans, and to not get destroyed every time.
4. Are there going to be any important character deaths in the next couple dozen issues?
5. Do you actually plan ahead by a dozen issues+, or just 7 or 8?
6. Are there going to be an Sonic vs. Knuckles brawls anytime soon, cause that would awesome (even better if it was Super Sonic/Super Knuckles or Hyper Sonic/Hyper Knuckles)
7. You should have a good character go bad . Tramatic event style, like in DC, back in the day when Henshaw (Cyborg Superman) destroyed Coast City, and Parallax was born.
Anyways, thanks for reading my questions and 1 suggestion.
I would like to congradulate you on the end Darkest Storm it had everything you promised and more, now on to the questions.
1. Was M sentient, by that I mean was she capable of thinking and making decisions of her own? I ask this becuase Robotnik seemed to beleive she was really making a deal with Anonymous and she would have had to be sentient for him to believe that.
2. Their is a question that has been bugging me for some time, is Aithar dead or not. I can't seem to remember a story where he was shown dying yet he was in the Chaos force along with other dead gaurdians. Yet while that was going on he has shown up in several stories in his full flesh and blood body. It seems like different writers think he is alive and some think he is dead.
3. Can you please explain how the Ancient Walkers being dead prevents them from doing their job? I mean it was monitering over the Chaos force right, but correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Chaos force where individuals on Mobius go when they die, at least individuals who were connected to it in some way like the guardians. Also they almost never seemed to leave it anyway, also weren't they their when they died, so where did they go too, shouldn't they still be there It's like in Dragonball Z when that old Kaoshin gave Goku his life so he could go back to earth then he died. Goku and the other kaoshin were standing over him grieving only the kaoshin live in the afterlife so he just got right back up and told Goku to get moving.
4. I know you didn't write the story where Issac appeared in but I think I remember you saying you were going to use him later. In your opinion what is the level of Issac's AI. Is he as you described Metal Sonic souless and incapable of taking any action except pre ordered or preprogramed ones. Is he fully sentient like Heavy and Bomb were. Or is he somewhere in between like Nicole seems to be where he basically anylizes and computes odds but has some direction himself. I ask this becuase even though he was doing as programmed he seemed capable of making descisions on his own. Also he displayed curiosity and imagination a few times.
5. In your opinion who would have won in a fight between the secret service and the Chaotix(by the way I'm counting Knuckles as a member, both in this question as well as in general)?
6. In your opinion what is Knuckles status as a team member in the Chaotix alot of people use the term Knuckles and the Chaotix as if Knux isn't a member. On the other hand people also use the term Sonic and the freedom fighters all the time as well and nobody disputes him being a member. I have also heard Sonic refer to the others as the freedom fighters and me and the freedom fighter as if they were seperate on many occasions as well the same way Knuckles does with the Chaotix. I find it silly to say he is not on the team seeing as how he is with them most of the time true he often goes off without them but so does Sonic with his teamates. Or is he like Batman in the Justice League animated series where he is considered a part time member even though everyone considers him an official member regardless.
7. In your opinion why did Issac attack attack Sonic when he found him in the complex and not Shadow.
Hiya Ian. Been racking my brain to think of a good question- but I've settled for this one instead. ^__~
1. What is your take on Sonic's swimming abilities? I ask because there is some conflicting info in the comics- the hedgie's gone swimming no problem in early stories but lately that's not the case (the "Home" and "Songoose" story arcs leap to mind as close calls for Sonic underwater)
Mr. Elimin8
1. Why not have the original Robotnik come back
Because it's too time consuming/not worth it to explain to the new reader (for each issue) that the current Dr. Eggman is the alternate-future-roboticized-classic-Robotnik-made-flesh-by-aliens. The topic has been beaten into the ground. Beginning now, my stock response shall be "Classic Robotnik is gone."
2. Why make Anonymous give off a silhouette of the original Doctor if it's not him?
Because that's what seemed to be the precedent set by Romy Chacon, and it was a nice bit of misdirection.
3. what's with the cheesy depictions of Metal Sonic. I know this isn't the games, but why not make him more like his counterpart? He's got his OWN attitude,
I haven't written Metal Sonic yet, but I didn't like the rebel robot version of it in Sonic Heroes, nor do I like it as a sassy Sonic copy. I much prefer it has the complete antithesis - devoid of humor, compassion and quips. Where Sonic is full of life, energy and vigor Metal is cold, calculating (literally) machine. Soulless. Much creepy, IMO.
4. Are there going to be any important character deaths in the next couple dozen issues?
Depends on your definition of "important," but yes, other characters will be leaving us.
5. Do you actually plan ahead by a dozen issues+, or just 7 or 8?
The script I'm working on is #176. So there ya go.
6. Are there going to be an Sonic vs. Knuckles brawls anytime soon, cause that would awesome (even better if it was Super Sonic/Super Knuckles or Hyper Sonic/Hyper Knuckles)
As cool as that would be, they don't have a reason right now. I'd really like to only be writing fights that occurr for a reason outside of "it would be cool if..." Which is hard in the face of temptation sometimes.

1. Was M sentient, by that I mean was she capable of thinking and making decisions of her own? I ask this becuase Robotnik seemed to beleive she was really making a deal with Anonymous and she would have had to be sentient for him to believe that.
I wouldn't go all-out and say "yes, sentient" like a living being, but she was capable of independant thought. I wouldn't say she was as far along as Nicole, but definitely on par/a bit beyond Metal Sonic.
The way I'm treating it - and this is unofficial until it's said somewhere in the comic - is that Athair has reached Aurora-level connection to the Chaos Force. He's not nearly as proficient with utilizing it, but he's to the point where his spirit is beyond the contexts of forms. So if he wanted, he could have a body, but right now he's chilling out as energy out in the ether.
3. Can you please explain how the Ancient Walkers being dead prevents them from doing their job?
Mogul's strike at them was at the level of the Chaos Force itself - gods striking at gods. The interdimensional fluctuations caused by the openning of the Zone of Silence (StH#163) was the last step to destroying what they were in the Chaos Force. They ceased to be.
As for others' spirits joining to it, I'm taking my cue for the "Afterlife" arc which says almost nobody gets in - not even most of the Guardians. So it's not really a "heaven" so much as an all-pervading Zone.
4. I know you didn't write the story where Issac appeared in but I think I remember you saying you were going to use him later. In your opinion what is the level of Issac's AI.
A level or two beneath M, we'll say.
5. In your opinion who would have won in a fight between the secret service and the Chaotix(by the way I'm counting Knuckles as a member, both in this question as well as in general)?
All-out brawl? No holes barred? Knuckles, barely, with Mighty and St. John having lasted the longest among the losers.
6. In your opinion what is Knuckles status as a team member in the Chaotix
Yes, but more of an "honorary" member; de factor leader in Vector's abscense. Knuckles is Guardian first, Chaotic second.
7. In your opinion why did Issac attack attack Sonic when he found him in the complex and not Shadow.
That'll be touched upon, in a way, in Issac's next appearance.
MissPuar
1. What is your take on Sonic's swimming abilities?
It seems like Sonic can Sonic Spin to tread water if he can get the speed to do it, like skipping a stone. I guess he used it during "Home" under the water, but you honestly have me there. I think Sonic can flail/tread water enough to get to safety if he's near to land. Otherwise - past events aside - he's in trouble.
When you submitted scripts to Archie, did the stories have to do with the current continuity at the time or were they single stories that didn't affect the continuity at all? Just curious.
Quote:

Alright, this made me remember Guardian Mattahias, who appeared in SSS #14. In that story, Mattahias seemed like he too could go between physical and spiritual bodies, and he, like Knux in the Chaos Force, could sense the danger Dimitri was about to unleash. So, what I'm asking is Athair and Brother Mattahias in the same plane or is one or the other just a slight level below the other?
Also, will we be seeing Big and Froggy any time soon?
ok lets see....
1) I hope u dont take this as anger or anything negative... but your not gonna off naugie are u... i mean i know my opinion doesnt really matter ... but.. well i have anticipated his return since the last super special he was in..

7) i had a question as well though your department in which your employed at may not be able to answer this... but anyways.. the wii is too have a new super smash bros brawl game and 3rd party characters are to be on it.. anyways to go right to the point IF sonic was a character would archie be able to do a game adaptation for it.. or no?
thats all for now Ian thanks
Hello Ian;
I'm four months new to the StH comics and about a month new to Sonic HQ. My brother has from #146-162. I just stumbled across this Discussion thread and I think this whole thing is so cool. I'll never catch up on the backstory and all the past characters, so please forgive me if I ask something foolish.
My first question is; Can I ask anything about the comics?
Number Two is, perhaps, more important; Do you have an assistant or someone in your department that could take time to answer my really silly stuff?
3; 'Sonic', among many others character names, strike me purely as nicknames; Does Sonic have a real first name?
4; Do you really get ideas from the fans who post stuff in this thread? Do you encourage us to give you ideas and make suggestions? To venture opinions?
5; The main StH comics storyline is your baby now, so I guess you eat and sleep pure Sonic; When did you take over the main storyline?
6; Do you know where I can find extensive lists of the good guys, bad guys and the fringe characters since the start of StH? (I'm especially interested in the other FF Cores, so I can refer to them in my fan fiction.)
7; You know how fortunate you are, I suppose; How humble are you about it?
Sorry to be so long winded, Ian,
Skyl
H'okay folks - this took a lot of thought and consideration. I don't do this lightly, but it's ultimately something I have to do. I'm spending anywhere from three to five hours a day on some of these Q&A sessions. It's gotten to be a kind of fourth job.
So this is going to have to be my last Q&A session here on the Knothole forum. It's nothing y'all did - you've been wonderful hosts and I've really enjoyed the chance to interact with all of you. We've been going strong since March and reached twenty info-stuffed pages. I think now is as good a time to finish up as ever.
Many thanks for Super Rayzor for starting this up and setting it up, for all the Mods who looked over us all, and for Sonic HQ for hosting me and my responses. Understand that I'm not leaving, but I am stopping the Q&A. I'll be around to comment or clarify on occasion. If you simply must ask me something, This Side of Mobius will still get my attention.
Now then - let's finish this out proper, shall we?
NelStone
When you submitted scripts to Archie, did the stories have to do with the current continuity at the time or were they single stories that didn't affect the continuity at all? Just curious.
The first time, yes. They were very tight in the continuity of the time - which was a mistake. In later revisions of my application, I kept the strong scripts and made them stand-alone. The newer ones could've also run at just about any time in the book with minimal tweaking.
Super Rayzor
So, what I'm asking is Athair and Brother Mattahias in the same plane or is one or the other just a slight level below the other?
Matthias is indeed very powerful in the lower-levels of the Chaos Force - perhaps the most of the deceased Guardians. But Athair is far, far above him.
Also, will we be seeing Big and Froggy any time soon?
Sadly, no.
Nack
1) I hope u dont take this as anger or anything negative... but your not gonna off naugie are u... i mean i know my opinion doesnt really matter ... but.. well i have anticipated his return since the last super special he was in..
Not a question, but - I'm not done with Naugus. TDS was a beginning as much as an ending of things.
2) so the weasel trio nack hired are now ..err.. pushin up daisies .. yes?
Yup.
3)so.. if i was correct on reading the preview for 165 the destructix are on the loose again...?
Seems that way. But how, and why? You'll just have to read to see.
4)will we see the return of jack rabbit and his gang..., downunda ffs, and most importantly my favorite knuckles comic villain.. Ebony Hare?
I'd like to get back to pretty much every one of them. Time will tell if we can.
5) whats your opinion on tommy turtle?
I thought he was best used in his first (and initially) last appearance. There's lot of potential in him, I think, which I hope to tap. I am well aware of the universal Tommy hate, though.
6) has Eggman given up on assistance from cronies??
Nope. See StH#162.
7) anyways to go right to the point IF sonic was a character would archie be able to do a game adaptation for it.. or no?
Definitely not, I'm sure. Too much red-tape to climb through.
Skyler Vane
My first question is; Can I ask anything about the comics?
Not here anymore, I'm sorry to say. You'd certainly be able to ask anything, but there's only so much I could conceivably answer.
Number Two is, perhaps, more important; Do you have an assistant or someone in your department that could take time to answer my really silly stuff?
Heavens no! I'm not the type of person to warrant an assistant. Besides, if you can take the time to ask me a question, I can take the time to answer it.
3; 'Sonic', among many others character names, strike me purely as nicknames; Does Sonic have a real first name?
I know past creators have had idea in that vein, but his name is "Sonic" as far as I'm concerned.
4; Do you really get ideas from the fans who post stuff in this thread? Do you encourage us to give you ideas and make suggestions? To venture opinions?
Random fan-speculation can help me think of something I might not have otherwise, and I welcome opinions. But I strongly discourage - nay, forbid - full-blown suggestions. It leaves me open to "he stole my idea!" accusations, which I'd rather not have any grounds for.
5; The main StH comics storyline is your baby now, so I guess you eat and sleep pure Sonic; When did you take over the main storyline?
With StH#160.
6; Do you know where I can find extensive lists of the good guys, bad guys and the fringe characters since the start of StH? (I'm especially interested in the other FF Cores, so I can refer to them in my fan fiction.)
Sonic HQ and Wikipedia.org are excellent places to start. From there, The Green Hill Zone (www.theghz.com) and the two official Sonic sites (www.sonic.com/sega; sonic.sega.jp) are excellent SegaSonic character sources.
7; You know how fortunate you are, I suppose; How humble are you about it?
I try to stay humble about it, for what the fates giveth they taketh away just as quickly - with a vengence, more often than not. But it's hard for one to say whether their humble or not. Wouldn't it be humble to say you've got room to improve, but pompous to say you're very humble? That's quite the ponderous question...
I suppose my actions will speak for me, ne?
Alright folks, that's the end of the list. Thank you again for taking the time to correspond with me!
I'll see y'all around
Ian "Potto" Flynn
Yeah, after that huge influx, I was wondering how the heck you were managing to answer all that.
Title updated to reflect this change. Not necessarily locking it, though if somebody else wants to, that's their business. I just thought that if somebody wanted to say thanks, it'd be a bit rude for me to cut 'em off.
yeah, you've got more important things to do i know that deadlines can suck really bad.
thanks ian.
Hi Ian! I'm new to the forums
What has been your favorite Sonic storyline?
Do you miss the old style of drawing the characters? (Like when Sonic's eyes were black and his shoes didn't have buckles.)
Sonia, go read three posts up from yours.
Ian doesn't have the time to answer so many questions, so he's left this topic. Perhaps you should try his topic at his forum, www.bumbleking.com/forum. "This Side of Mobius" is the SONIC subforum.
Ok. Thanks
Goodbye Ian;
Very much thanks for your efforts here.
I hope you do fifty more issues(if you don't end the series at 200).
I agree with your prognosis of how humble one can consider oneself to be.
Fly on, Flynn' Man,
Skyl
P.S. I hope I wasn't the one who drove you off.
No worries, Skyler. Things just timed out that way
Will we ever see the origins of Spectre?

So this is going to have to be my last Q&A session here on the Knothole forum.
Bolded for emphasis. I don't think you'll be getting an answer, at least not directy from Ian.
I don't recall if he had said anything at all concerning members of the Brotherhood returning, never mind having their most mysterious member's origins explained. There might be something that touches on that in this very thread if you care to look for yourself (because I get the disctinct impression you haven't).

well, he is god's right hand of vengeance who needs to be bound to a soul that's seeking redemption some of these people are very notable such as Hal Jordan The green lantern.......oh wait you wanted The BROTHERHOOD one.
i wrote to archie comics about why they do not have fanart and sonic grams and i was told it was because of "space restraints" then i was told by someone on the sega boards that the new editor mike has gotten rid of that just so the comic can have more avertisements, i can't beleive this! the fanart and sonic grams have been going since the begginimg of the comic why give it the boot now???? and if they have to have advertisements how about just adding it once every two months? it would make more sense.
It's not Mike's call. The problem is that the higher-ups at Archie have ordered more ads (more ads means more money, after all), and so Mike is given less space to work with.
In any case, Ian isn't answering questions here any more, as said above. But to avoid further confusion, perhaps it's better if I just lock this topic. Thanks again to Ian, and just a reminder that any further questions are welcomed at Ian's board.
