I live in the UK, can't usually get Archie because I don't live near a Comic shop so I usually grab an issue when I can. I haven't been able to get any for a long while. Now I'm lost so a few questions...

What are these Egg Grapes and what do they do?

What happened to the Roboterthingy (too hard to spell) which turned Mobian's into Robots?

Nicole is a hologram. How did this happen?

Any idea whatever happened to the artist Spaz? He doesn't seem to do the cover art anymore. Has he moved onto new things?

Also why did his work go Manga-fied? Didn't mind it so much but I liked his old artworks. Obviously styles change but sometimes I confuse his recent style of art with J Axers.

Thanks for the help!

welcome to the forums.

1. the egg grapes are things that drain the life out of the occupants, they got filled up with echidnas in Return to Angel Island. thus basically getting rid of 80% of the knuckles extended cast.

2. The Roboticizer was made useless when the bem (aliens) de-roboticized the entire planet.

3. she was playing around with the idea in her spare time but since she built a new city, she can basically appear anytime she wants when she has the power to.

4. spaz does the cover work for sonic x now. he's missed.

5. Fry was the one who made the manga-fied thing, and everyone kinda jumped on board.

i hope this helps.

yeah, a lot has changed over the years. Spaz, once in awhile, will be the cover artist, but normally now it's Tracy Yardley.

It would be cool, though, if they brought back the Roboticizer somehow. It seems less challenging now that everyone's a flesh-and-blood mobian. I mean the stories are still good.

As for Fry, his BIG time anime-art was during STH #88-90. It seemed a little less during his previous times as the guest-penciler.

Try these people, if you want to get your issues more regularly. You don't need a credit card, and I've had a subscription with them for nine years with no problems.
