I Have just read "Blast from the Past" "Iron Dominion" and "Journey To The East"
Is it my imagination, or does Archie comics has a two issue maximum when it comes to characters being brainwashed?
I was horrified seeing what happened to Nicole, but I felt she was restored to her previous self way too easily. Blah.
Second, the Four Houses broke apart amazingly easy, odd considering how well, -strong as iron-
the empire seemed when smacking the FFs around for half a year.
Lightning Lynx I know is a minor nothing in all this, but, GEEZE, the only thing the guy has LEFT NOW is revenge.
That makes for a very very very dangerous person indeed.
Every time I see Fiona on page I'm reminded of my ill fated attempt to give suggestions via reverse psychology
on the forum and having my nose rubbed in it.
I hate it how Fistantilus called Aurora a 'so-called goddess. Why do comic book writers or
anyone who becomes a comic book writer has the NEED to 'shoot the wizard' so to speak
and come up with some contrived explanation to make the magic 'real science' when before
Magic A = Magic A was a perfectly reasonable explanation in context?
It was painfully predictable that none of the knoteholers we know in any shape or form or
see get legionized in any shape or form.
I HATE IT how casual they talk about the destruction of the sword of acorns and the source.
They were something unique, something of worth to the universe. Now they're gone.
And they were destroyed JUST so they couldn't fall into the wrong hands?
You know how the first weapons were developed? FROM FARMING TOOLS!
By the logic that justified the sword of acorns destruction, we should have all stayed hunter/gathers.
Finally, WHAT THE BLOODY HECK! Espio's clan has issues!
The whole reason the guardians adopted their open attitude towards guarding the island was BECAUSE
the fire ants as their advisors was in direct opposition to the theory of 'protecting from the shadows'
'keep those you protect utterly ignorant' yada yada! It feels rather sick that the guardians were
considered a threat to the world at large that needed monitoring more than tyrants and criminals.
